19th Asian Games 2023 in Hangzhou China

I think we can win more than 4 Gold medals if POC and PSC have a clear vision for sports... since 1958, We can't break that 4 Gold medal barrier for PHL... I think we can win atleast 10 Gold medals... In 2026 Asian Games, Those are the following sports that POC & PSC should focus and give them all support (trainings, facilities, expenses) to deliver Gold to PHL...

Athletics - Pole Vaulter
Tennis
Jiu Jitsu
Taekwondo
Boxing
BMX - Cycling
Karate
Weightlifting
Wushu
Sepak Takraw
Gymnastics
Skateboarding

If return in 2026, Billiards and Bowling will always a Gold medal haul for us, While basketball is always competitive and also have a chance to win a medal, But POC and PSC should focus on sports that need support the most... SBP is a private fund corporation... Most of the countries doing that, They only bring athletes that has biggest chance of winning, They put all resources to the sports that they have biggest chance of winning... I don't have any issue to other sports, But much better put more resources to the sports that has higher chance to win the Gold...

As soon as Japeth got subbed in Jordan got back in the game. If he wasn’t 6’9 he’d be working at Jollibee.
 
Chinese fans still not move on from us, they supporting Jordan... If this is not a rivalry, China will appreciate us... but they are bitter..... We don't like Chinese too....
 
Coach Tim should just fully trust Ange Kouame in the second half as both drop defense junemar and freedie aguilar can't contribute on both sides of the court

What do you expect? To cheer for the team who beat them on their home soil?

I agree with some,

pole vault- Obiena would still dominate in next edition.
Tennis - Eala has so much upside.
Jiu jitsu - great performance this yr, surprising! we can be a powerhouse in asia.

Taekwondo - We hardly won any medals every asian games, we are not a power house. Our best jins are old now like Morriso, Alora and Lopez. barbosa and Alcantara is good, but they always fell short in asian games.

Boxing - we havent won gold since 2006, we dont have good prospects aa of now. If Marcial and paalam retires in Amateur boxing, were doomed.

wushu - we can excel on this sport, but china always dominate this sport. Its hard to win gold in wushu.

Weightlifting - our womens has good potentail like sarno and ando. Our mena not so much. And with the comeback pf North Koreans its going to be harder to win gold.

Swpak takraw - our mens team are improving. Still behind thailand, indonesia and myanmar, but theres a big improvement.

Gymnaatics - flennigan is good, but were still a 1 man team in Yulo. Without Yulo they are ordinary.

one more quarter to go, i just hope our defense will still hold out and do not rush in offense

Since the start of the tournament, They boo us, They don't like PHL since the start... What i mean is, If this is not a rivalry, they will not do that.. They applaud Iran, Jordan, Taiwan and underdog teams, but every Gilas, Japan and S. Korea, they always boo those teams...
