19th Asian Games 2023 in Hangzhou China

Many rookies applying for the draft right? Better form a team from there....balti, kobe, ricci etc

Well, most of them were benched by chot, so they are not tired anyway… they can bounce back there in Asian games w/ brownlee… I have no expectations here in Asian games… We were grouped with Jordan, Bahrain and Thailand… I will expect to lose vs Jordan w/ RHJ, while getting wins vs Thailand and Bahrain… I see we will be QF only but lose after that… korea, China, Japan and either Lebanon or Jordan will be semifinalist… don’t expect too high for Asian games team… i will temper my expectations and start over again in February 2024 Asia cup qualifiers.. I hope that time, they already have a set of core to prepare themselves for 2027 FIBA WC in Qatar…

Agree.

Balti, Schonny Winston & Ken Tuffin are good Asian Games prospects.

What I don't like is the idea of filling the roster with lots of ineligibles like Standhardinger, Pringle, Mikey Williams. 2 or 3 ineligibles for me would be good enough.

If LA Tenorio is healthy, just send Ginebra with reinforcements. Tamayo? Balti? SJ? RJ? KQ?

i think LA is still doing some chemo session in singapore, and we don't know yet what kind of eligibility rule that China will impose as a host, after an embarrassing world cup fuckers for sure will try as hard as they can to favor their team, so i am thinking they will use fiba eligibility as if they will not other teams can take advantage by fielding multiple naturalized player

for sure them and South Korea are the dirtiest MF's when it comes to hosting sporting events, i was not born yet that time but as a boxing fan i read that Roy Jones Jr. was badly robbed in the olympics in South Korea, i will not be surprised if they will impose a no naturalized player rule
 
No overseas guys since it’s still unclear whether the release for Asian games is part of their contract since AG is not FIBA sanctioned. Moreover, B.League starts the same time as the opening of AG. UAAP/NCAA season would also be starting simultaneously with the opening of AG. Core would probably be PBA guys.

Assuming OCA rules would be applied, this is my pool:

Beating China tonight had me thinking too how badly they would want to get back for revenge through the Asian Games. LOL. We'll see.

Even he's opponent in that gold medal bout, Park Si-Heon believes Roy won that game and up to now still felt shame on what the Korean sports officials did

Dude can't dribble/shoot to save his life. Francis Lopez toyed with him a pre-season tournament and all of a sudden he'll have a spot in the Asiad? Jesus, La Sallians and their delusions of grandeur know no bounds. LMAO
 
Not much time to prepare SBP style cramming... they never learned.
 
Assuming the Asiad team will be made up of FIBA elligible PBA players , the SBP will reinforce those from the world cup pool with some add ons (of course that all depends on who the coach would want). Here is my guess what the line up would look like.

GUARDS:

FORWARDS:
Justin Brownlee

Why is Troy Rosario is still in the picture,it should be Navarro or Lopez,I would even pick those two over Malonzo.
 
Are the ineligibles viable in Asian games? Maybe we can field our SEA games team with rosser and the big men from la salle
