great tourney indeed...japan upsets lebanon, iran doing the same with korea, chinese taipei holding on to barely defeat the kazakhs and the lithuanian coach of china blasting Wang ZZ and Yi Jianlian for their uninspired and lethargic performances....great!!!!

where did you read the Chinese coach blastin Zhizhi and Yi for there lethargic manner, i'd like to read it.

are there websites that cover the Asian Games that has photos of the games?

Lebanon has to...

Lebanon has to...

In an important game tomorrow, Lebanon has to defeat Chinese Taipei by a margin of at least 8 points, having confidence in this happening, here are the most probable Quarter-final matchups:

Qatar vs. Kazakhstan

Japan vs. Iran

China vs. Korea Republic

Jordan vs. Lebanon

GO LEBANON!!! :)

Actually, as long as Lebanon beat Taipei by 3 points, you will be in quarterfinals. That is if everybody beats Uzbekistan.

If that does happen, Lebanon will only be 4th seed and will play Qatar (likely)

anyone have the tv schedule to CCTV5 on the basketball programming. and any update on the lebanon vs japan match. i really want to see this

Well obviously my goal is for Lebanon to get third, not fourth. :p

You can download this one: http://download.utorrent.com/1.6/uTorrent-1.6-install.exe ;) Once you install it, just click the links of the games above and the programme will open them. Then just choose the folder where you want the download to be. And then... wait until it's done :D

Korea's Bang Sung Yoon, who played in NBDL 2 seasons ago, buried 11 three pointers in the 2nd half in his comeback game after an injury, to defeat Qatar in overtime. He finished a game high 42 points. Bang will attempt to knock out China in elimination play next with his sharpshooting.

When he was in NBDL, reportedly a few NBA teams were interested in his 3 point abilities. This summer he scored 25 points in an exhibition game against Lebron James and USA. Will he have a shot in NBA? I personally doubt it, but I would like to see how he performs against China.

We were all waiting to see him and when he finally started he was a lil slow. After a quarter he started to heat up and get his game back. During the game he seemed to be slightly limping which makes this story all the more interesting :D This was by far the best game Ive seen in Asian basketball. On the other hand Im not sure if the NBA will be interested in him because of this, I know he can def take his game somewhere else.

Bang sprained his ankle just before Asian Game. So wore a plaster cast before he goes to Qatar. He just joined team at that game.(first two game he couldn't play and 3rd game he just played 4 min.)

Anyway Bang is not athletic. If he got more jump and quickness, he could be more untouchable. And he has bad shoot selection. But he got power(compare to asian SG/SF), has shooting skills in any arena.
