before the tournament, France would be the heavy favorite in this match-up, now the chances are looking about equal (at least to me). what do you think?

Yeap, France is underperforming a lot so far but i just can't see them losing to Germany

Slight edge to France. They didn't look good, but they have more experience.

Germany for me, as i don't think the problems from that heurtel-de colo-fournier line up will be fixed before the end of this eurobasket. Starting to wonder if collet is not doing it on purpose because he is tired of baby sitting cry babies (obviouly not talking about last generations) and wants to leave the nt.

If the line up does not change, i will check what is the scoring record in eurobasket for a guard, coz shroder could break it.

France has been poor but I just can't see Germany taking advantage. I think whoever wins this game gets booted by Spain next round though.

Germany will see how angry and stimulated France looks like. just IMHO

France has impressed nobody to this point but I still think Germany will have its hands full.

Germany would be an elite team if only they had a single quality center on their roster - french quick stretch forwards are just manhandling them on the offensive glass. A true big like Tibor Pleiss would make this game much more interesting and unpredictable

Germany is killing from outside. How many consecutive 3s? 5?

Theis is on fire, wow. 8/9 from the field. Just the time to play his best game, eh?

Is anyone know why Lauvergne is out in the fourth quarter? Hard to understand. Fournier from France, Theis n Schroeder from Germany played impressive.

Crazy final minutes. Fournier, are u realll? :)

Congratulate both teams. Very nice game to watch.

The only good thing for french basketball coming out as a result of this EB is the fact that this is the end of Vincent Collet.
Extremely overrated but had a luck to lead a team with Parker, Batum, Diaw and co. They would have won medals even without him.
As there are no good french coaches will they give it to a foreigner.
Collet simply didn't manage to find good roles for players in this team.
And no teams with Heurtel in it will ever be good.

Nice win for the panzers though, after a slow start they managed to keep it close and got on fire from outside in the fourth.
Theiss was very effective, bad game for Schroder and yet they won. Even if they tried to give it away in the last two minutes.

De Colo with France seems a total different player, also the referees don't whistle a foul evreytime somebody touches him.

What a player is Daniel Theis, my god.
