21302 spectators? Is this number reliable? If so, it's remarkable.

we are their bitches for too long. Something is changing those last couple of years, but we are not there yet. This is an excellent opportunity though :)

Some of you take basketball too serious. Nobody is the bitch of nobody, it's only a game, a wonderful game.

Rudy is injured, he has problems with his back (Ariza destroyed Rudy's version at Joventut after that fault).
I don't expect a win vs Greece, but the game should be played, at basketball everything can happen.

Pau Gasol is something great, an spanish idol and icon. Thanks Pau for all.

Pau is really a class act, gentleman as well as a big time competitor.

I just wish we can have a player of this level one day. It will feel weird when he quits, just like Nowitzki and alike.

I was not 100% sure Spain would win this, lack of experience for Poland and a few minutes of defense (the first of the championship) did it for Spain in the last quarter.

As some had pointed out, i think Greece is the favourite for the win. They & Serbia have been the best teams of the tournament by far.

it really is...
Having so many spectators in a game consisting without a host country is really remarkable for european basketball, nevertheless it happening in a country where basketball is far from being a popular sport. French really surprised us this time around, not even mentioning that record breaking game later on:cool:
