Actually, I have going on and on about Koufos and how good he can be is we play him at his strengths.

Bourousis and Koufos have complementary virtues. For example, Koufos is better when we offense in transition and Bourou is better in more static offenses. They are the best couple of centers we have since ... perhaps ever.

Always sad when you get eliminated.Especially after the first half i had hope that we could maybe do sth great as long as we were close in score. What can i say, when you end up in the 4th spot of your group its pretty obvious that your chances wont be many.
Congratulations Greece, wish you luck in your next games!

P.S:Wish our game was played last, cause know i wont be able to enjoy the rest of them:mad:

This time Belgium only needed a bit deeper bench imo. Judging from your U20 team you'll definately have 2 maybee 3 players to add to rotation in 2017.
You didn't get the credit for your play this championship imo, but personaly I believe your game has generaly improved, the thing missing was someone in the lines of DJ Mbenga - with a center like that, it would be a whole different story imo and there are a lot of NT's that can't realisticaly claim they are only a center away from being among top10 NTs.

Greece has just so many weapons on offense and can defend very very smart. So experienced team

Despite the result,I honestly believe Belgium was the second best team we faced in this tournament (after Croatia).Excellent ball movement, very good spacing, good guards, split outs.Too much reliance on the perimeter though, cause of no big men and a very VERY short bench.

I don't think it's that easy. There's many factors involved to make the top.
IMO the power of this Belgian team is that it has the same coach and system for many years. This is huge when it comes to national teams. That's why they can compete against teams like Greece, France and Spain in exhibition phase. They already have chemistry going for them. But then, in KO games, at an advanced phase of the tournament top teams team up and play a high intensity game for a lot of minutes. This is obviously what most of the players in a team like Belgium are not used to. So after a while they break down. And let's not forget they are the underdogs which is quintessential in basketball and a big plus.
At the end of the day, if you want to reach the next level, one needs at least 7-8 players playing at the highest level. Like teams who are competitors for the Final Four in the EL or the NBA.

But there is no doubt that Belgium made progress.
