All in all, Team Russia got even higher than it was expected from them, so, the result is very good. I doubt that we can win against Spain, but that does not matter now. I am proud of our team.
Unfortunately, Fridzon was very bad throughout the whole tournament. And Shved - such a strange player... He is a star, no doubt, but the kind of player with whom you do not win championships (only some games). He is not relible, like Dragic or Bogdanovic, or the same DeColo. But coaches tend to build the whole game around him, disrupting the game of other players. IMO Karasev is more stable than Shved, pity that he was injured.
Anyway, it was a good win for Serbia, but in the final my voice goes to Slovenia. Dragic and Doncic deserve to become champions/

They don't deserve anything, they have to earn it on the court:)
 
I have a bizarre relationship with Shved, a really hate him, but at the same time I love him.

It was clear that Russia with Kirilenko as the president, would come back to the elite. Betting for Andrei is a sure bet, such a reliable man!

Congrats to our serbs friends here! I am not be able to see anything on Sunday, a pitty!

Hahahahahahaha, I love sarcasm :) I expect great game. Let the best team win. But if you think about that, we are playing without our best players, so if Slovenia win it will be against B team of Serbia :)
So for me, we are champions already :)
 
All these absences yet they are in the final again.The chemistry of Serbs with their National team is out of this world.
Oh yeahh and ofcourse Bogdanovic!!This tournament would've been a walk in the park if they had Teo and im not even counting Jokic and Kallinic.
However i trully believe that the Slovenians are way more hungry for the gold.

Why should I? I cheer for Russia, don't you know? I am just impressed with those two players, their skills and energy. In this case I may bet only on the beauty of the game;)

I knows this Serbian roots are serious thing, but Sasa Doncic(father) was born in Sempeter(Slovenia), mother Slovenian. Doncic was born in Ljubljana. I guess there should be around 100 million Serbs in the world, if criteria for being Serb is that vague.;) Dragic may qualify more, but he was born in Ljubljana too and lived there. Kokoskov is yours.

All of them are Orthodox Christians, pure Serbs, there is a proof for Dragic, his father was born in Smederevo

I guess the most important thing is that the player himself doesn't consider himself Serbian or he'd be on your team.

if he's a Serb, why he's not playing for Serbia? he was born and raised in Slovenia and he has slovenian citizenship, liked his parents. but you can think whatever you want, there's only 1 thing important tomorrow and that's for sure not what are the roots of slovenian players.;)
 
Why don't we just call the final a matchup between first cousins and leave it at that.
