Official No.1 Player of all time in the PBA according to Interbasket

For me in terms of PBA achievements, it's a tie between Patrimonio and Fernandez. But I choose Fernandez because of his participation in the 1974 World Basketball Championships in Puerto Rico.:)

Not guaranteed to succeed. Same reason why Coach K is handling Team USA and not the best NBA coaches.

Official No.1 Player of all time in the PBA according to Interbasket

Best player would be Ramon Fernandez, but I lost a couple of pesos during the time I was betting on his team especially during those crucial Purefoods-SMB and Toyota-Utex series. Runner-ups: 2. Patrimonio 3. Caidic 4. Atoy Co 5. Adornado

    Official Erick Spoelstra thread

Best play would be during the crucial moments of Game 4 - 4th quarter of Bulls-Heat. From the sideline, Spo gave a hand signal to the team for a particular play to be executed. And this is how it unfolded: 1. LBJ supposed to inbound the ball from the baseline of their frontcourt; 2...

What does the Philippine team need to watch out for (vol II)

These Asian football powerhouses are getting better in basketball. On the other hand we SEA basketball kings are getting better in football. Do they have football club teams there ala-PBA?

So that's why ABS-CBN chose Studio 23, their high-end channel to air PBA games.:D

PBA Trades, Releases, Sign-ups, Rumours (vol. II)

Sir, I'm only referring to the PBA which is by itself not the whole RP basketball. There are a lot of stakeholders in RP basketball - UAAP, CESAFI, Liga RP, NCAA etc where popularity is at their all-time high.

Move on to where? Accept the fact that the PBA is already what it is? Obkors, us who have followed the PBA in the 70's up to now have accepted that fact because we have witnessed the league's regression. And to say that the PBA is not being "marketed" by the media? The PBA itself is one...

Smart Gilas in the 2010 Asiad

I don't expect to win but hoping for the best. And if we do win this one, its good for gold for me and they can go home. Masaya nako.

Smart Gilas in the 2010 Asiad

Pardon me, but we always tend to underestimate the Korean's capabilities. Even their power forwards can shoot beyond the arc as one of their familiar play patterns that effectively neutralizes their defender's athleticism. Toroman needs to find ways how to defend the perimeter and hope that...

At least he knows what he's saying about the team, nandun sya eh. What about the others who haven't actually watched this team play live, who just happened to read something in the internet about the team then all of a sudden became basketball experts?

All the time I thought you're the one who got too serious by taking a leave of absence in the forums when Greggy boy left UV for Ateneo.:D Anyways, good for you. Having jolly good fun for yourself again. :D

    The Junmar Fajardo Thread

All of a sudden Slaughter isn't good because he's not playing for a Cebu team anymore? You got it right. Fajardo is good and has lots of potential but some fanboys with their tribal mentality don't have to put down the players he's compared with just to overhype him.
