The development of Holstein, Van Opstal and Tratter will be crucial for the future Gilas. I'm still wishing for a 6'7" player in the future who can play the 2 and 3 position effectively.

Is Tratter eligible for the NT if ever?

If he's good enough, Danding will undoubtedly bring him here to play for DLSU. The only problem is that he's just at 6 ft. It's alright for UAAP standards but I have my reservations whether or not he can match up against the Asian giants in a FIBA tournament.

We have a limited supply of big forwards, but there are still supplies. What we don't have supply of are very big and athletic centers. If you will naturalize, you might as well use it on a player as rare as uranium in the local scene. Slaughter isn't athletic enough.

We need a bigger player than Mbala, a younger and direct replacement for Douthit. Naturalization doesn't come every year and you have to choose wisely. If MVP or ECJ will be willing to invest I think they can get a better and bigger player than Mbala to naturalize.

Cheik Kone is just tall but very raw. I don't think La Salle would release him had they seen possible playing time for him. If you have to naturalize a foreigner best to naturalize someone like Mbala who has years of playing time before him, and a major game changer.

The problem with our bigmen is that they're not athletic enough. I highly doubt AVO will be able to significantly contribute to Gilas. He's tall but he has poor perimeter shooting. Same is true with Norbs. Tratter is a possible bigman for Gilas, and he actually plays the PF position if I'm not...

He has better chances than Japeth though. BRP also has very high basketball IQ. He has everything he needs to get into the NBA, including the physique and his father's connections. A little but more push with improvements and I have no doubts he can squeeze into the league in the future.,
