who would have thought , eh?
Right,so gloves are off...punching below is allowed.right on

You probably mean >2 (more than 2) in poll?

If Romanovas won't do his tricks and squad will be healthy - Zalgiris 4:1 (3 wins at home, one steal in Siemens)

without Pocius i'am not so confident. He was the only player, who could play 1vs1 , make fouls and take down opponent defense. With him i would say 4-1 Zalgiris. now i think it should be 4-2 anyway Zalgiris win.

I hope that "Rytas" will win these finals, but looking to the past matches this season it should be a clean sweep,so I hope that "Rytas" will at least put up a fight

Zalgiris won 1st game 83:81

I don't find a suitable word to describe Zalgiris' performance tonight... "pathetic" seems to be too weak

Rytas wasted a chance to win away game...like usual, dumb turnovers and strange late game plays decided the outcome. Zalgiris doesn't look in a very good shape and was more than beatable

i cant' believe that Zalgiris won with such catastrophic play but the most important thing is victory. This time i forgive it because 1st game of the final is always nervous. Luckily Marcus Brown showed his experience and talent if not he i am sure that the winner would be different.

Zalgiris played really bad, but i don't know how to describe Rytas's defensive rebounding in the first half, it was disgrace.

Did Žalgiris suddenly became the mix of Heat, Lakers, Barselona, Pao? Both teams played a decent game and comments like it was pathetic game by Žalgiris doesn't make sense, IMHO. Rytas nailed more shots, Žalgiris controlled the boards. Hopefully It will continue competitively.

Yes it doesn't... cause it was even worse. I don't know what's your expectations regarding Zalgiris' game level, but definitely they are low if yesterday's picture satisfied you. You don't have to be any freakin' mix of great teams to play good bball and there are competitive games, which are good to watch, while there're the ones like yesterday - awful offense (no ideas, plenty of missed shots including lay-ups, even airballs), poor defense, mistakes, fouls. It looked like team wasn't prepared psychologically or smth, they steped on the court as already a winners. While Rytas played as I expected (in Kaunas) - also poor, showed no surprises, rebounding was awful, but with such Zalgiris' display, had a decent chance to win it...
If oldie Brown is one the best players on the court and game decider, it probably explains a lot what kind of level this game was... Damn, even "hole in defense" Capin defensivelly looked like Diamantidis at times

wait a minute pal - so you are saying you expect Zalgiris to play a perfect game everytime they step onto the court, because they are some kind of super duper megateam like Barca, who can't have a bad game for a change? And on the other hand, you disrespect Rytas and just dismiss their performance completely. Arrogance is never a good thing my dear friend, so I would suggest you a piece of humble pie and be glad that Brown saved your asses this time arround:cool:

You should be happy that refs were giving fouls for Z left and right. And please buy new shoes for Gecevicius, hes barely make a shot, pass, or even run without falling.

I'm speechless lol  You perfectly understood my points...

Cesnakas, refs were quite bad at both sides but they weren't terrible. I'd even say that in game Panathinaikos - Montepaschi refs were as good as in the first match of finals.

Good game with a bad ending, it is very sad to watch like marcus brown is hitting 2 consecutive shots after throwing his regular airball. It is even more sad to watch how pathetic lithuanian basketball media became. on major website there is youtube video posted which shows moments when Rytas players supposedly violate the rules and refs are silent. Guess if any zalgiris players are shown in this perspective? That is so funny when you see objective news one day and on the second day it is suddenly RYTAS EVIL day, where interviews of crying coach and GM are posted. One day Romanov is enemy of the state, but on the next day he is considered God if he tells something about Vainauskas and Rytas. Interesting mass behavior tendency - if a delusional psycho paranoid man tells something what you like - it is pure true! Can you believe he claims that Vainauskas is ruining basketball in Lithuania! Man who promoted such players like Javtokas, Siskauskas, Macijauskas, Jasikevicius, Jasaitis and others is intended to ruin basketball of Lithuania! And there is strange paradox too - when Rytas loses the game there is always more whining and crying in the media than when Rytas wins.

Btw Zalgiris fans deserved admiration for last game - no coins, bottles or shit was thrown and no songs like FCUK YO REFERY and GINGER IS FAGGOT were singed. At least I didn't heard. Next game in the city, hope this time everything will be allright.

You probably forgot what they were chanting when Valanciunas went to the free throw line. They were yelling "faggot",which were either to the refs or Valanciunas.

i am sure that these words were shouted to refs. I don't see the point why Zalgiris fans should call Valanciunas. He and Jasaitis are the only players in Rytas who i respect, they always play like true professionalls. I mean they play a basketball and not try to provokate others or talk a trash like a majority of them.

btw, the position of Zalgiris staff after the first game was pathetic. The head coach and now Grigas is openly wining about the refs. Even if the refs were annoying (IMO, for both teams), these statements only shows that these people are washouts by you know who. If somehow Žalgiris would lose this final I already see another big "Lithuania was robbed again" :o

NBA would give a normal kick on the ass after such disrespect.
