Josh reyes or nash racela....a team filled with veterans will struggle to get that extra push from these coaches. A problem jason webb had with Star. Players play half ass when theyre being run by untested coaches. Look at San Miguel, no one listens to austria. The players like him because they can push him around. Nash is "pwede na" but to get his players to play hard and trust his style will be a huge challenge especially when the losses start to pile up. Yeah, tough racket to succeed in..

Who was calling the shots /plays in the game last night? Nash?

But hey blackwaters budget is thrice as less than phoenix..lol @ dioceldo sy..

How sure are you with this one? I guess Blackwater's budget is still at par with independent teams like the Fuelmasters', (pero ibang usapan na yung sa Mahindra hehehe) and i am impressed with James Forrester. even though he is for now considered a "bust" but he is contributing with the elite.

Phoenix is spending, they willing to shoulder cyrus 350 k pay.. while BW.. anything above 100k is already subsided by mother company mvp, considering everbilena is one major player in local cosmetic industry..

Forrester has mma este boxer este pba ready body, physique wise he was a thoroughbred can shoot the ball can finish strong, what skill he doesnt have? Ball handling:cool:

I think the reason Star picked Jalalo over AVO is that MVP is trying to get Jio thru Mahindra(Mahindra is still independent unlike BW)

Mahindra is independent becos they are not aligned with any team. They sell to anyone.

I think forrester contributed about 7 points, and he release a couple of funny looking three point shots, one of which killed a lizard lol, both shots were open by the way. parang di nagpapraktis (trans: now I know why yeng traded him)
I still think he is a bust

It is too early to tell but if BW will keep it's young core intact, 2-3 years from now they will be a scary team.

And remember sumang and ronald pascual still under their contract and it says a lot that forrester is much ready to perform than ronald as of this moment ..
Depends on dioceldo sy willingness to spend..

The only thing I can think of BW's acquisition of Forrester is that Leo Isaac was the athletic director of Arellano when Forrester was recruited by Koy Banal for the Chiefs.

And heck even Koy Banal didnt give forrester pt:cool:

That is why they opted to trade Lastimosa (which for me was a good one still) because it gave them more balance especially with the entry of Ronjay Buenafe and Dylan Ababou. and Forrester was really good during his Arellano and Cagayan (Dleague) days

yeah he was good but also streaky something that high risk high reward player possess.. But one thing that almost make him a bust, he was in a loaded team, another high risk high reward player in the name of terrence romeo played in a mediocre team..

I think ronjay buenafe and denok are good addition to the team of BW. Good combination of young blood and veterans

From being brilliant last season to become a lousy team. Itaga niyo na sa bato, Mahindra will go winless this conference. What a lousy management!

impressive first game for cruz..

typical guiao system.. balance offense for nlex.
