Messina was also assistent coach

Getting titles with All-Star teams and a lot of money at your disposal is sth. else than taking perennial underachievers without a winning mentality or a star-less roster to the top.
Messina used to be very good at his first stint with CSKA but from then on he went downhill. But even in his heyday, his CSKA was playing methodical and boring basketball. Compare it to Gershon's Maccabi. BTW, with a lot less money at his disposal. Not only was this team winning titles, it brought a lot of fun to basketball fans. Haing the offensive potential at his disposal than he has had and averaging 75-77 ppg, well, you must be forcing your players in very strict schemes.

But equally to Blatt, it's not in Messina's mentality to be someone's assistant. However, no one of them has played a 82-game season plus playoffs. You can't count domestic league, cup and EL games as games belonging to one league. Plus, NBA is a players' league. Cleveland is i a mess, a very undisciplined team, where perennial losers think they should be treated as stars.

If u want to be a Headcoach for once u msut be ex-nba player or assistent coach. And also nba could be a player's league but nba's coaches earn much more money than euroleague's coaches

New rumours about Baskonia: this time Andrew Goudelock.

I don,t think that current Laboral Kutxa have enough money to sign him. If everything was so easy, we already could see him in CSKA. But UNIKS president Bogachev ready to "fight" for him for his next season contract even with CSKA .:) As far as i know,he wants to return to the NBA.

Blatt played arround 100-game season when Maccabi played at Adriatic League also ;)

Turkish teams are fighting over Printezis. Galatasaray is offering him a 3-year contract at 1.7M per year (!?!), he is apparently Efes' #1 target, and Fenerbahce will try to get him once Kleiza's contract is bought out by the team. This according to a report in the Greek sports press.

Vougioukas seems to return in pao after two season in unics kazan
There are lot of rumors here in greece about calathes and pao also.

he is the most useless Greek player, i've ever watched :)

Why no Kyle Hines on the wish list?

He has a huuuuuge contract. I am not his biggest fan ever tho. There are way better players than him. You can buy both Dunston and Lasme with the money you pay for Hines.

He is not my wish :) He is one of the candidates for a newcomer. I never wanted him.

Anyways I dont think Ivkovic would do such mistake, especially when he already coached Bourousis in Oly before. At least we all know Kristic can perform excellent under Ivkovic, he knows how to use him. If we did not have foreign limitation Bourousis could have been a dexent bench player for 500k per season. I dont consider him as a starting center.

If Ivkovic wants a good finisher then you cannot find better names than Bourousis easily. May be Pleiss can be the better option.

You have a better chance of getting him than the other two.

Very well then but in media there are many Greek players linked with Efes just because we signed Perperoglou. Bourousis, Printezis and even Spanoulis. Why did we let Vasilieadis leave, it could have been Hellas Efes instead of Anadolu Efes

This is where Greek teams have come to. They should be happy with the likes of Vouyoukas.

What a victory for Pao. Total joke.

I hope to see some more serious signings for Pao.
