Well the bracket goes like this: Winner of Angola-Morocco/Winner Ivory Coast-Cameroon and Winner Nigeria/Senegal/Winner Egypt/Cape Verde.

Obviously if Nigeria wins tonight, i think it'll be the first finalist. From the other pair i will vote Cameroon, but it's very uncertain.

This loss of Nigeria was so frustrating.Kudos to Senegal for their fighting spirit but Nigeria had such a talented roster. The coaching was beyond terrible,so many capable post players yet they kept chucking ill advised shots in the 4th quarter. When you can form such a strong squad at least find some capable coach to lead them, not some amateurs.

Great hurt from Senegal, tonight! And good tactic choice from their coach. This zone defense, confused nigeria. Although you can't go very far with one point guard.

niegeria the only african team who can compete with the international power houses got elimenited and one of shitiest teams i ve ever seen still has a shot to play the wc !!! egyptian team i mean

Ouch. The teams with legit NBA players got booted out of the Quarters while Asia's bitch still has a shot at the WC. LOL!

Chinese Taipei must be so pissed right now!

Although I didn't have a dog in the flight, Nigeria's loss to Senegal is as disappointing as it comes. They had a real chance to build on their Olympic appearance by qualifying for the WC, but instead, they'll have to start right back at square one. What a shame for their program. The Nigerians are way too talented and experienced to go out like this.

Are there any links you know of where I can watch a replay?

If they would spend some money on a coach that knows actually how to put a team together and bring in some basic sets...

The PG-spot was crucial to Nigeria and unlike the years before (Tony Skinn, Michael Umeh, Josh Akognon...) they didnt have a capable player to do it this year.
Ben Uzoh is still not a PG and after seeing him play, I am know pretty sure that he wont succeed on the European market if brought back once more.
I have no clue why Oruche and Gumut made the team as any mediocre D1 college-player with Nigerian roots would have done it better.

What happened to Ade Dagunduro? Koko Archibong retired. Ibekwe is injured and Skinn is (heopfully) working his way back. Obasohan had a bad season and might be bouncing back. Oyedeji should retire internationally so there is space for Ezeli now under the basket.

Is there a slight chance to bring Victor Oladipo in? Melvin Ejim is gone (Canada) after prepping with them last year.

Dagundaro had a serious injury at Roma. Ibekwe couldn't join because he signed contract at Japan. Obasohan didn't want to play this year. For Oladipo i can't tell.
For Gumut,Uzoh and Oruche you are correct, i agree. Also Bakare is not a coach. I could mention Ere(fantastic season with Varese).

The nigerian federation should focus on wild card and convince FIBA that they have a program on their mind for 2016.

Ibekwe is according his own twitter account injured and is currently working his way back on the court. Obasohan signed with Monaco early on and they didnt let him go, thats what he twittered.

Ebi Ere was at one point part of the NT...heard the chemistry with the others wasnt good, but who knows...

The NBBF wont spend money on the wild card (since they are always short on money) and that's what FIBA actually is looking for.

Congrats to Egypt, first World Cup appearance since 1994! Also an amazing turnaround from their initial 0-3 start.

Wasn't really rooting for them but amusing to see a guy who just finished his first season at an NCAA D2 school as the star player.

What the hell WIKIPEDIA's wrong info this is the Nigerian team roster

;) LOL
