Seed II: Ukraine, Bulgaria, Poland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Israel, Italy

I didn't know where to post this, so I decided to do it here.

Well, FIBA Europe announced the competition system and the seedings for the Qualifying Rounds of the next Eurobasket 2013 at Slovenia.

Directly qualified are the teams who play Olympic Games or their Qualifying round, and Slovenia as the host team.

31 teams more will play for 17 berths. They will be divided in 6 groups (5 of 5 and one more of 6); the two first teams of each group and the four best thirds will join it.

The draw will be on December 4th (link)

Seed I: Serbia, Turkey, Germany, Finland, Georgia, Croatia
Seed II: Ukraine, Bulgaria, Poland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Israel, Italy
Seed III: Montenegro, Latvia, Belgium, Portugal, Hungary, Sweden
Seed IV: Czech Repubic, Estonia, Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria, Azerbaijan
Seed V: Belarus, Slovakia, Romania, Albania, Luxembourg, Cyprus
Seed VI: Iceland

toughest group should be Serbia, Israel and Montenegro, and Turkey, Italy, Portugal, Czech Rep. ones

I'm realy itrested in how Czech will look like

to me with full rooster they have ability to pull some upset. Welch, Barton, Vesely, Satoransky, Jelinek, Hampl and few guys from Nymburk like Pumprla should be decent squad
 
Some groups look tough, but 16 teams will qualify, so even being 3rd in a 5-team group could be enough.

Good draw for us, some nice teams to watch.
 
there are only 4 real teams in groups lol. btw the new theme is awful, i want the old one back, now! :p

Turkey beat Finland (88-77). our frontcourt look good enough althoug we are missing Asık and Kanter, on the other hand turkish guards giving S.O.S. all day long.

Georgia - Czech Republic ended 68:79 and gave Czech Republic the first place in overall standings.

Estonia's fixtures so:

Estonia - Geogria 76-90
Estonia - Czech Republic 70-72
Estonia - East-Coast ALL-STARS 109-74 (Siim-Sander Vene had 41 points and 19 rebounds)

The team has had few injuries and setbacks so far, making our thin selection even more thin. Next games will be played in a tournament taking place in Georgia with Ukraina and Belarus being the two other participants.
 
damn, this is probably most limited team we have since 97. EB. Thak God Serbia is best team we will face this summer

It looked like horor move when Repesa tried to organize ofense trough Andric and Markota. Those 2 togheter have IQ of room temperature. Even he realized that was most idiotic thing he tried and leater orderd just to play pick, nothing else. But it's also his fault. There are 0 plays made for shoot after screans for Pilepic and Vrbanc and I'm trying to find out why the fuck he call those 2 if they won't be used for oly thing they can do. They surly won't create or play tough defense. Ukic and Sipcevic as usual can't organise sheeps on paper. Well atleas Stipcevic looked decent as much as he can, but man would expect Ukic with age will learn something, but he plays worse and worse latley.

Rudez and Markota at PF? I must light candle for Saric quick maturing and hope banic will change his mind, because with this 2 Croatian fans will feal lot of pain for years if they eventually will take trip to Slovenia and disgrace (represent:( ) our countrie

When Andric, Markota, Simon and Ukic played togheter defense looked like swiss chees. Adric made Stimac look like Jabbar. Oly players that played some defense were Babic, Planinic and Marcinkovic. But damn, fuck Repesa and his love to limited players like Marcinkovic. Marin Rozic compared to this guy actually looks like basketball player
