You were saying, kiddo?:p

Maybe he is one of the alter ego's of Gilas bashers here

any way for now what makes our team go is the defense bad offensive start

for the team but still a good job, if perhaps our team are shooting threes early the game could have been a blow out, interesting to watch Mahram vs Gilas tomorrow the last time we faced these guys we lost by 16 points

Uy .. may "bagong lumang" trying hard KSP na naman.

Ahem ... pahiya ka no? Huwag ka na papalit-palit ng pangalan ... sarili mo lang naman ang niloloko me eh. Everybody here knows who you really are. C'mon my fellow Ginabra-tard brethren, it's getting painfully pathetic.

Just be happy that we won. I guarantee it'll feel a lot better than moping around carrying all your negative baggage.

Translation: How does your meal taste? Eating crow with a side dish of humble pie? I'm sure it's a little bitter ...

Congrats! I spotted Coach Matic behind Gilas' bench scouting. Best of luck against Mahram.

sana meron mag upload sa youtube.di ko nakita yung game eh:( masyadong maaga.

Hard earned win for Gilas. They couldn't buy a bucket for a long stretch of the first half. Those missed endgame freethrows of Tiu were very nearly disastrous, and tarnished an erstwhile steady and brilliant game-long performance. Good thing we had a slim buffer. JV Casio ... what can I say. Just rock-steady reliability from the little guy. I'm not sure how many points he scored, but I think he got a boatload.

Syria was a little off tonight, especially Maadanly. The foul-trouble really screwed up his groove. Samaki was rather beastly in this game (well, at least the first 3 quarters). Miller was awesome too. Man, he is fast. It's difficult to speculate but we can't discount the possibilty that they may be bothered by the turmoil and goings-on back in their home soil. Quite a worrisome predicament indeed.

Mico and Olsen had mentioned that this is the farthest we've ever gone in this tournament. A milestone achievement indeed. It's a bit of pipe dream (suntok sa buwan ba) but I really hope they can do even better and go even farther.

If we can keep it close tomorrow it means we can compete with the likes of China and Iran, Beating the best pro team in asia tomorrow would mean so much for us because this means the Wuhan goal is achievable

Really? I'm not too familiar with them. So they're that good huh? Expect the worst and hope for the best I guess.

BTW guys, check out my new sig ... it's for all the crabs out there courtesy of Chickoy Pura and The Jerks.

sana nga, kasi for me, this mahram team is on the same level with their national team... if not, their NT is just slightly better than mahram.

...and our 2 potential starters are not even playing yet.

best players of this game vs al jalaa: casio (no need for alapag?), douthit, japeth

Alapag is still needed, not as a primary PG though, Casio already owns that throne, but as a reliever. So that the slump that happened to us at the 2nd quarter, will probably have a lesser chance of re-occurring in November.

Same situation as Busan games 2002 no reliever for Olsen Racela... I think it was Noy Castillo playing as the Backup PG although he was more an SG...

Wee... Same Results??? Hopefully not... :D:D:D
