We expected this, those are youngsters and they can't physically match a 7 footers!
Anyway the win is very important, and India defeated Taiwan so if we win the game, we will almost secure a spot in the quarter fnals wether as 3rd or 4th!

stats in this game are crazy. india already shot 19 three pointers in the 1st half.

india shooting 26% from the field, 19% from three and 0/1 on ft's, yet they are still basically even with lebanon.

india shot 19% in their game against china, 30% against chinese taipei, 43% against Malaysia (in a 93-40 win) and now 26% against lebanon, but based on scores and w/l record theyre doing fairly well this tournament.

True Dany... However the Indian NT still plays well without their 7 footer Satnam Singh. For their team to have been able to defeat Chinese Taipei by more than 20 points shows that they have a very good team.

Also I don't think our players are boxing out well (but we can't watch the game so we'll never know).

I do believe we will finish 3rd in our group behind China and South Korea... Our quarterfinal matchup will either be with Japan or Philippines...

As for our chances to qualify to the U17 WC I honestly don't think it will be possible... I hope they prove me wrong.

By the way it is obvious who are our main players on the team and we are relying only on 3-4 players for scoring... Jimmy, Gerard, Albert and Ezzat. We don't have a deep bench and this will make us suffer if any of our main players get into foul trouble.

End of 3rd Quarter:

Lebanon 63 - 47 India (With Rakesh and Satnam fouled out it seems India is facing difficulties in scoring or their players have tired out).

End of Game:

Lebanon 77 - 65 India

india seems to have a very gd team for the future especially with their 7 footer Satnam Singh. This championship seems to be very competitive. Hopefully lebanon will not face china in the semis again. It would be very tough match up for us.

End of First Half:

China 41 - 21 Iraq

End of Third Quarter:

China 69 - 31 Iraq

End of Match:

China 84 - 41 Iraq

how come all we need to qualify third and play two bright games excluding the semi final game vs China. the QF and the bronze medal game.

was thinking the same actually :)

our mistake was settling for 3rd place we should have tried to settle for 4th place and meet either japan or philippine ( almost same level) in the quarters then face korea in the semis. now this way we will meet china in the semis and wont be able to reach the wc.

i think the philippines and india will fight for the fourth place. india looks better.

after india's loss to lebanon earlier today, i think it'll be iraq and the lebanese joining china and korea from this group. india and taiwan will be the odd men out so to speak. from the other group, i think it'll be the pinoys, japan, saudi arabia and qatar.

End of Game:

Japan 97 - 36 Vietnam

End of first half:

Saudi Arabia 27 - 25 Indonesia

End of Game:

Saudi Arabia 65 - 70 Indonesia

Finally!!! A close game! I was checking out the game via FIBA stats live, and it was pretty entertaining. Congratulations Indonesia! I think that's a win they need, to take the last bus to the quarterfinals.

GO PILIPINAS!!!
