Deal was canceled by Pesaro president. Some sources in Latvia say that Skele's agent wanted more money, so the deal was not done. According to same source, it was not first time when Skele's agent messed up signing contract - in summer Skele was close to Asseco Prokom, but agent also wanted more money. Skele's agent said that it was not his fault, but Pesaro's club. They only needed president to sign it.Skele to Pesaro seems almost done.
It's true. At the end, Pesaro's president did not close the deal because he felt the player was too expensive, though he was the first name on the g.m. list.Deal was canceled by Pesaro president. Yeah, I'm also wondering about same thing. I've heard a lot about this Napoli club and I don't understand why he signed with so unstable and unpredictable club. Skele's agent today said that Pesaro's president apologized to them. Agent also said that this contract isn't as lucrative as it could've been with Pesaro. It's true. What's really odd is that he signed for a club that's not richer, at least on paper...And it's even more curious the fact that Napoli was in search of a PG and not a SG, this obviously means that one of their European foreign players is going to leave soon (maybe Tsaldaris, or Muurinen if they also sign Tyrone Grant).
Late payments, it seems. The player had a delayed payment, so he (or his agent ?) simply didn't trust the team to pay him throughout the season, so he opted to leave.Yeah, I'm also wondering about same thing. Napoli really doesn't seem credible from financial standpoint, but they're still playing and besides Skele recently brought Damon Jones... And previously they had J.R. Reynolds on roster, but he left team because of unpaid salary?
Hemofarm Vršac (again) signed experienced Slovenian player Goran Jagodnik untill end of season.
He signed a contract which allows him to leave abroad if better financial offer comes along. He was signed by Hopsi Polzela and played three games for them averaging 17.7ppg and 12.0rpg in Slovenian championship.I thought he had signed with a low-level Slo club after EC?
