ur saying we would get autographs from ur players?!
hahahahahahaha... is that a joke
what are they? nba players?

anyway, we'll see how lebanon improve
gud luck

thats why when we r gonna play against you we will be busy signing autographs for your nt squad before and after the game

A very arrogant statement

Don't be too proud of your aging National Team

The only reason that you act this way is because of Vroman.......

Without a naturalized player, your team would just be another contender.....A very beatable contender if I may add...

We've beaten your NT more than once.....So don't make it look like your NT is invincible....

I think nader should also stay here for a while to learn english.. :D

Relax. The kid's just in high school. English is not exactly a first language there. And his brashness is just typical of 15-year-olds everywhere. We've seen far worse from some Pinoy newbies here. Relax. Chill.

i think miller should guard vroman, just to keep the coaching staff of lebanon guessing. :)

Lebanon seems to be a better team for this tournament. I have a question they have Jackson Vroman and they said that they also have Matt Freije. They are both foreigns and FIBA only alloud you to have one nationalize in the team. Matt Freije is 6-11 and is a great three point shooter. He plays in the puertorican profesional league.

The Philipines seems that they have gain height wich was their aquiles tandon. Hope both do well in the Asian qualifer tournament.

By the way what you fans think about the puertorican team?

nice team bro cause u have travor ariza and villanuava

all i know about Lebanon NT is that :

the naturalized player has trouble playing as center

most players are aging (just like our team)

they can't run the floor very well

has trouble shooting the free throws

their coach is a compulsive spender on hair gels (our coach doesn't need it):D

they foul a lot because they are tired

El Khatib needs to spend time on the treadmill

:p Good one bro. I really liked the "compulsive spender on hair gels" :D (Doesn't he remind u of De Niro in the Godfather :D)

No seriously now our players aren't that old. The only players that r +30 r Fadi Khatib (30) and Brian Bshara (32). Khatib is still not in the best of shape but he should be ready by the Asian Championship.
Our center (Vroman) is not a pure center but he played well against other centers cuz he's very versatile and can use his quickness as an advantage.
Running the floor will come in due time (as the team gets used to playing with each other). Fouling will also decrease as the players' physical fitness improves.
As for free throws it depends whom ur talking about (Rony Fahed and Fadi Khatib r great free throw shooters especially under pressure. It was Rony Fahed's critical free throws in the waning minutes against Korea in the semis that helped us qualify to the World Championships)

we'd seen them play already..don't worry you won't be using any inks here.you could get our Nt's autograph if you want..bring your digi cams too so you could post it on your facebook :D

thanks man i would like to take the autographs of the players of first 4 teams in the asian championship not 6th:D:D(man i'm just joking)

mga kosa mas mabuti ng ganito ang tingin nila sa team natin ngayon... naalala ko lang kasi nung 2007 andami ditong kababayan natin na nagangas ng todo tungkol sa tyansa ng rp5 noon na makalaro sa beijing, tignan mo ngyari...:rolleyes:trans...its better to be the underdogs of this coming fiba asia;) just let the games do the talking;):)

I totally agree with you thats why i cant wait for Aug 6. May the best fans wins ^^

i think lebanon can let freije and vroman play together. vroman as a naturalized player while freije as a local as he said to be of a lebanese descent. so frieje can be classified as lebanese-american and can hold dual passport.

I guess your coach has old fashion European taste but anyways,If you could solve your problems before Fiba-Asia Champs you're a hard team to beat.

Hi cardenales!
I really like the Puerto Rican NT, I remember well when we played against you in the 2002 world championship.. Elias Ayuso was incredible, he was unstoppable that day and through all the tournament, and I think it was after his great performance that he went to the NBA (by the way where is he playing now?) Though we gave you a hard time until the 3rd quarter, you beat us by a huge difference. In fact, it was the first time we qualified for the world championship, and most of our players were very old (except Fadi el Khatib). Years after years, things have changed and our team improved a lot with new talents (that's how we were able to beat France and Venezuela in the last World Championship).

Now, can you tell me your opinion on Matt Freije, since he played in your league this year? I have never seen him play, and he is about to play for our NT soon, so can you tell me how he was seen in the Puerto Rican league?

Thank you, and good luck for your team!
