Shaq's too high. I mean he was a truly dominant force, but his half ass attitude cost him several games. The fact that he was totally and completely dominated whenever he played Hakeem should be noted as well.

Hakeem's way too low, for a man who ran through Patrick Ewing, Charles Barkley, Shaq, and David Robinson and every other center in the 90s to be only 13 is a crime.

Totally agreed and the conclusion is: Magic and Bird are too low :D

They're overrating a lot of the really old players from the era of high scores and low percentages.

They chose Shaq over Kareem and Bird is only at 9? C'mon.

And where's Yinka Dare? :D

No disrespect to Elgin Baylor but Kobe and him should switch order.

Rodman has no business being in Top 50. He was a liability offensively.

but ...couldn't a player like Pistol Pete Maravich be in the list? Yes, he did not have an outstanding career in NBA, but if we are speaking about sheer talent...I think he would definitely deserve a spot..and I also agree that Magic and Larry Legend should be in a higher position on the list....

You definitely can see Maravichs influence on players like Nash and Kidd. Pistol Pete started that unique style of passing the ball which was later made popular by these two players.

The big question in these types of lists is always whether we are measuring career value, peak value, or some sort of combination of the two.

Thomas over Stockton is the biggest mistake on the list. Stockton was much better and for a longer time. I will take Dumars over Thomas.

The 80's Celtics--McHale overrated at #25 while Parish is unrated. McHale was better at his peak but Parish was a very good player for a very long time.

Reggie Miller really should be on there.
