We seldom hear praises for china's pg.
I think this is due to their system of play.
they seldom deviate from the game plan
and improvise.
Some call them too mechanical but if they
win tonight it would have serve their purpose.
If china loses today, they can study why
and make approppriate changes specially in the
pg position.They can bounce back real quick
coz of the million of reserve pool out there.
tonight's game will come down to who will have
higher shooting percentages , in the floor
and in the free throw line, specially free throw.
at least must have 90% free throw to help get the win.
Avoiding foul trouble will also help.
Turn over will always kill you specially if the other team
score out of it.
as usual bad calls will emerge
but team that can handle bad call better will be rewarded.
China is beatable so take it
and no whinning after the game.
 
Bozorgmehr my bro! you don't know how much I love you in a non-gay way! For your sense of humor I'd root for Iran: Go Iran! Go Hadadi! Kick this overhyped gluteal muscle of Yi! show him that at 2nd round, he deserves more of being a lottery pick than Yi!

Maybe Chinese are also sensitve with their ears, touch their earmuff-less ears or throw them some coconuts!

A game that China has to play against Jordan, Iran, or Lebanon can easily go either way. The problem, as it has always been, is China's guards. Outside of Shipeng Wang, the guards have done very little for China, while the middle-asia teams have the stonger backvourt players in Nikkhah, Daghles, and Fahed.

The main problem should be the tactics, we are still playing Yao tactics without Yao. So the efficiency is reduced a lot.

Yeah i second that, me too, I find him hilarious. He doesnt use foul language but just good natured ribbing. No offense to the jordanians but I have to admit those earmuff comments are quite funny.

Having said that, the Jordanians and especially the Lebanese have shown the rest of asia that the Chinese A team is beatable. Now it is up to the Iranians to show us how to finish the job. Show us. Good Luck.

i think zhang wu was a good point guard. I also liked the game of the current coach of china but like zhang wu lacks the body and upper body strength that west asian/arab pgs have.

all china needs to do is to hit their outside shots and get to the head of hadadi. they do that and its over by the 3rd quarter. maybe 2nd.

best way for iran to steal this one is for hadadi to play smart and stay on the floor (limited fouls and no technicals). kamrani of course need to maximize his advantage over china's guards but if china solved iran's defense, there won't be much problem. offensively, china is a much better team.this will boil down to offense vs defense.

lebanon defense against china was excellent if iran can do the same thing they will win because i believe they have better offense then lebanon.
 
the only thing that prevents the chinese national team from winning will be their fear of losing to another asian team, they are not as...all-out...as our middle eastern friends...maybe it's a culture thing:confused:
 
China is eaten alive inside by iran.
theres no way china can come back.
the 2 chinese center are so soft defensively
and the point guard are so weak
you have to wonder where they get this player.
