He is still risky move for his buy-out. Rumors says they are about 2milion euros. Thats big money even for Maccabi, specialy for a player who is still more of project, than a player. Question mark about him for me is only fizical. He is already one of the smartest and tehnical centars in europ. As long term project he could finish better than Vujcic. he remindes me of Kreso Cosic. will be interesting to se will he make to A national team this summer, and how will he copete at this level.
I think he already proved he can play at the high level..
adriatic league is not the toughest league in Europe but he was great this season..
for example in two games against Partizan he was
23+14
18+10

in two games against Cibona (in adriatic league) he was
21+9
9+5

and those are two euroleague teams playing at a high level..

against Hemofarm (a Uleb cup semifinalist)
20+13
15+6

I don't think there are any questions whether he will make a national team or not.. the only question is instead of whom he will make it..
probably instead of Barać who is out injured anyway and didn't had much of a season anyway..
IMO he was a project last season, now he is a player who only needs to be upgraded with some finesses..

The best all-time Euroleague scorer Marcus Brown may return to Kaunas Zalgiris. How to publish a "Day of Kaunas, the previous year with Žalgiris American signed a two-year contract, which may further year, as the Tel Aviv" Maccabi "team he played just under the lease agreement.
If Brown or Žalgiris leaders would like the next season he should play again in Kaunas.

However Žalgiris Director Paul Motiejunas said, although "M. Brown - a very high level player, and we serve," but it is unclear "whether this is consistent with the vision of the club," because to be "a team to have its own players as much as possible."

According to Mr. Motiejunas, American prices are gradually falling and is now lower than it was two years ago, when he first arrived in Žalgiris.

According to Kauno Diena daily, Marcus Brown could return to Žalgiris.
This is true, that Zalgiris have interest Brown.Zalgiris try find pg and big man also.I know, that from Hemofarm big man interest Zalgiris also.I no wants say names, because Macaby buy this peoples.:D

I just want to remind U, dear friends, Zalgiris fans, that Brown is 35 years old and didn't play in the F4 here due to an injury, which can effect him in the future. (on his knee).

What's the contract of Kaspars Berzins?
It expired after this season. I think that Berzins also could be interesting prospect in market. Good size, decent rebounder and shot blocker, good stroke. If motivated and composed, then easily can get double-double.

I'm not sure Zalgiris have budget to buy Brown. $800,000? I don't think so.

This not problem for Zalgiris 800000.This only depend from new Zalgiris coach and Marcus Brown.Zalgiris budget will be about 6mln euros. And 5 players is young and not need big money for Janavicius,Vasilauskas,Lipkevicius and few more. This players received 1000-2000euros per month and have long contracts with Zalgiris.7 players will be more expensive it is about 4,5 mln euros will be for these players:).

Don't take this so serious. The newspaper only mentions the theoretical assumption. In reallity nobody will try to buy him, for sure. Firstly, GM has said (same as new owner), that from now on Žalgiris won't try to buy players for such a big money, since they can't afford that. The team does not want to make the same mistakes and avoid debts. Secondly, as Roy M mentioned, he is too old. The new team will be quite young, only few of the players will be older. Those few players should be the core of the team. Marcus, with all due respect to him, at this moment (considering his age) is just not that man who could lead the team in such circumstance.

Even if money is not a problem, I'm not sure Brown will be able to remain opening five player for whole season - it was hard to him in Maccabi....

Yes is risk with M.Brown.Zalgiris direktor Motiejunas has contact with M.Brown and him agent about new contract.Zalgiris ineterest him.
M.Brown very good player he like coach and for young players is big autoritete.

Lietuvos rytas is in keen on Khalid El-Amin.

How do his monkey-spanking ability effects his game?:D:D:D

Slovenian legendary coach Zmago Sagadin extended his contract with Croatian club Zadar for the next season. He had contract for next season also, but it was optional, so now just became official that he is staying there.

Andrea Trinchieri is the new head coach of Cantù. He replaces Dalmonte

El-Amin & Rytas
they are flirting ;)

I think this player is very expensive ?1mln euros about .Zalgiris find playmaker also, but 1mln euros is big money for team.I like Mctyre, but this player will be very expensive for Zalgiris.:)

Lottomatica Roma's GM Dejan Bodiroga wants Bogdan Tanjević as headcoach of the team for next season.

Barcelona, Lottomatica Roma, Unicaja Malaga and ALBA Berlin are interested in signing Tadija Dragićević from Crvena Zvezda according to Sportski žurnal. Tadija Dragićević expressed his wish to leave the club due to bad financial situation, although he he has contract also for next season. ALBA seems the most serious.

I don't know exactly if he is free to go, without any buyout, but considering Crvena Zvezda is bad on financial side, I think it could be possible. If not, some ammount will be required to be paid.
