Guys, somebody who has watched the games of Greece please may tell me how is the development of Kostas Papanikolaou?Last year he had very limited minutes in the team I support,Aris, and I watched him only a little but he has very nice stats so far so I guess he was worked by the technical staff through this year.Actually we,Aris fans hope that he will develop in a point forward type of player,in the kind of Dejan Bodiroga.Do you think this can be possible? At least he seems to has worked his 3p shot!Do you believe he can become a Euroleague level player or not?

I have watched him at Reebok Eurocamp in Treviso. He left positive impression, through is certainly not the type of player like Bodiroga. He is tough combo forward with excellent size and solid athleticism. Plays hard and has solid skills facing the basket. As of right now he is far from point-forward type of player, his ballhandling ability is average and he didn`t show off-the-charts court vision. Still, a very good prospect for Greek basketball.

I have to agree.. his point-guard days are long gone when he was playing at a very young age. He's got really good physical skills and likes to attack the basket. He definitely needs more playing time than what he is getting right now. The greek league though is one of the worst places to develop young players.. really bad..

hi mates!

Somebody believe in any surprises today?

Could Puerto Rico beat the strong athletic France? Could Argentina shock the spanish side? Could Canada win against Croatia?

What do you think? Thanks in advance.

Can anyone to comment on Fibatv's stream quality? Are there any issues I should be aware of?

What the hell happened to Croatian players???Where do they have their mind????

Me too my friend, only live score but I can guess what happened,no offence but Croatian players in all team sports are always unpredictable, they can beat anyone and also loose by the weakest!Trandition man!

Could you tell me pohani komarac about Mario Delas, what type of player he is,I watched him once last year in U18 Eurobasket and I wasn't super impressed, skilled player though, but in this tournament he plays like a superman! How good he is really? Is there any interest for him from rich clubs and does he have a high buy-out?

[edit:Croatian now on lead again thanks to super performance by Delas and Prostran but Radosevic+Zubcic 2/19 FG so far WTF?????)

that is truth. we have mentality that always underrestimate lower ranked teams, but when playing against big teams we play to our limits

What's up with Tristan Thompson not playing for Canada today? Injured? Or did he get kicked off this team too?

Had solid first profesional season in solid competition in Adriatic league. Can face basket and play with back, but mstley plays with his face even he has some nice back to back moves. Has rage to tree point line. has great feal for cuts and rolls and inside moves. Well developed body for his age and nice frame, but lacks great atletic ability but not afraid to finsh strong. Also litle slow footed. Showed few times that he can be clutch and good bbIQ. Bigest problem is he is not agresive and very laid beck personality tipical for Split. Also big problem for him could be that his club is close to colaps and wont compete in Adriatic league, while Croatian A1 is very weak competition, and his coach Teo Cizmic is worst coach I saw in my life. Maybe his game is not for NBA because he is not atletic but has decent atletic ability (for sure he is more atletic than Macvan) but should be star in Euroleage one day.

don't know what is his buyout but they sold Ukic fot 700000 eros and PF and C are always costing more. But don't be surprised if they sold him under his price this year because they are desperatly need some money. Split is very close to collaps and their acount is blocked for few mounths

We won 83-77
Prostran 29 pts, 6asist, 7 rbs, 4 stl- by play by play again showed his tough clutch caracter makeing few free trows and plays in last few minutes.
Delas 26 pts, 10 rebs, 3 bl, 1 asist and steal
Butorac with 3 important 3 was unexpected heros
Zubcic play terible this turnament 1-10 shoting, but 11 rbs-he defenetley needs to step out. but on other hands his bad performances and Radosevic, Batur and Babic who are also nicley talented gives hopes that we have more room to impruve.
