Haha.. really joking!
It's my opinion that those flips in my country make me think maybe they have slight acromesomelic dwarfism. Joking:D:D

joel23?? is that you??

sorry i cant understand your statement... :)

but he has a rectangular face which make make me think maybe he has slight gigantism...

tmac injuries only came when he was traded to houston and maybe its because of his age...

Yap, T-mac became prone to injury since been traded..I think Yao's rectangular face is due to genetics, perhaps he got it from his mom 'coz they have similar facial structure..Unlike most of giantism/gigantism cases, it isn't impossible for Yao to grow that tall (7'6" to be exact) 'coz his parents are both high in stature, mother and father are 6'3" and 6'7" respectively. As you may know, those with this disease don't have the stamina to play strenuous games like basketball, they do tire easily compared to normal gigantic players, thus those basketball players suffering from this condition couldn't play longer minutes and can be easily outmuscled by shorter opponents. Noticeably, Yao has the stamina and strength to play against the best b-ball players in the world.:):):)

yao definitely was a wonder to many....a mobile 7'6 guy? hehe.so it is not a surprise that many are still wondering about how Yao is that,..he is just so special...

@topic
for me...it shall be a very tough competition...
but our team pilipinas are making great strides in these past months,..so i believe that they're going to FIBA ASIA 2009 with a great mission,...and that is to bring back the glory of the Philippine Basketball...

Team Pilipinas//

though,...i also believe that, at the moment,..everything is unpredictable...
but something is a sure hit,..that we pinoys will be with our team along the way...go pinas!

I do like your enthusiasm but please do refrain from posting projected standings as results. Its a cardinal sin here in interbasket.:)

you dont need to be sorry. you did nothing wrong.

the thread says "who's your pick to win FIBA ASIA?" not "pm your pick to win FIBA ASIA?" :)

This categorization is quite fair but whats up with your username:p... you really hate Fadi El Khatib... I mean he's your country's most respected player in Asia... just asking by the way :)

Fadi may be a great player but he always acts like a child. he made problems in several teams, he asks for money to play in the NT but I admit that Fadi is currently the best lebanese player.

I may sound obnoxious but are you sure you're lebanese and was born in Lebanon  Its unusual for a lebanese mocking his fellow countryman

man dont take a bad idea of khatib...some of lebanese fans were upset bcz he played for one of the teams in lebanon,,,
concerning money....he lives from basket and he always argued that there is no enogh good equipment for the national team...he wanted us to be more organized like other federations treat their national team,,,,

so dont worry bro 99% of lebanese fans love and r proud of fady....forget about certain childish comments

just for the info khatib cancelled his 4 million dollar contract in europe just to play with riyadi 2 years ago...so if he preferred money he could have stayed there

Don't worry, I'm still a fan of Fadi... I was just wondering why some Lebanese don't like him... well I heard both side of the story but it doesn't diminish my respect to Fadi El Khatib the Great...

By the way, I do recall he got some visa issues in some European countries (not sure if it was Belgium, Luxembourg or the Netherlands) back then when he still playing in Europw... did he got the visa at the end? or the said country remain discriminatory to him?

well dont know about this....but i know that the president of the ukranian club sacked the coach bcz he didnt succeed in keeping fadi with the team...it was said that fadi tried to get a job for this coach in lebanon...bcz he was sad for the coach to be kicked out bcz of him...
