Adriatic League participant Helios Domžale added American PG Alvin Snow from SKK Kotwica Kolobrzeg for one season.

Azovmash management is again going insane. According to this article they are offering 220.000€ buyout for Rok Stipčević from Zadar. Stipčević said he wants to stay in Zadar no matter the offers from European clubs, also Zadar officials said that due to importance of upcoming season they won't be selling any players - if they win the championship once again they will get 3 years contract to play in Euroleague.

Before that Azovmash was offering 600.000$ buyout for Juby Johnson but Zadar decided to decline the offer.

It's means that negotiations between Azovmash and Zalgiris about Delininkaitis going good for Zalgiris.

No news about Cabarkapa. I heard nothing from him for 2 years now. But he is on the roster for the Montenegrin NT.

Žarko Čabarkapa underwent two very serious surgeries on his back in short period of time and as far as I heard he never fully recovered from that. I think I read a year ago that he was doing some try-outs with Phoenix Suns (?), but I guess he didn't pass them. The last time he played active basketball was during 2005-2006 season.

All quiet for now. They were waiting to see how Brezec will decide. I guess in upcoming few weeks we could see a signing or two. Although they don't need to hurry because we just need to fill PG and C spot with starting guys and one or two additional role players - one on SG and maybe one on PF/C. They are negotiating with Vladimir Golubović (212cm, 1986, C), but so does Partizan.

not in KAZAN.

It is written that kazan interest him and offered 2,5 millions € for 2 years.

Also written that efes and bologna interest for him.

At the below another link for kakiouzis;

for efes side; I thin efes really need power forward make three point, dribling giving pass .When thinking efes transfers this year and look at big guys at efes roster there is no man like kakiouzis.

Kaya is good and hard player but there is no stability his shoot ability.

Kerem is warrior but he does not make kakiouzis work.

If efes receive kasun;definetely need a power forward who has shoot ability

Thanks for info ;) Good signing for Helios ... :)

I wonder why Snow signs with mediocre teams season for season. Although he doesn't put up impressive stats, Snow is a very good point guard with a real strong body and great passing game. Probably it is his character that holds him back from playing in a better league. Some people call him a headcase and he is known to be a troublemaker.

If they get Tadija Dragicevic(god forbid) they could be very good team.

Maybe...Brezec is a BIG question point in an EL starting five. he isn't a player similar Lorbek, but he have to make points and catch many boards, because in this moment his back-up is Fucka(37 y-old) and the PF back-up is Tonolli(36 y-old).
but Roma, like Milano, Virtus Bologna, Fortitudo Bologna & Treviso work very well in this summer. I wait next week for know the new starting five SG by Siena...

I'm happy because next year we'll have a good championship in Italy

Primož Brezec inked 1+1+1 year deal with Lottomatica Roma. He has option at the end of every season to go to NBA without any buyout.
According to sources Olimpija was offering him 800.000€ per season plus bonuses (some additional sponsor would be paying him not budget) and according to sources of Olimpija Brezec will be getting only 100.000€ more in Roma. He said that the fact that Jennings signed in Roma and that there will be tons of NBA scouts watching every Roma's game decided in favour as he wants to return to NBA as soon as possible. Few days before he was saying how he loves Olimpija and that he'd come back even for 50% less what other teams are offering... he even said that he's 90% that he'll be back in Olimpija jersey.

Crowd won't love it, Brezec won't get a happy welcome back in Tivoli when Roma will play there...on contrary, he'll be probably competing with Fučka for the "best welcome in Tivoli chant"... can't wait for Olimpija - Roma game. :)

He just about lost any bit of respect I ever senced for the guy.
Not only for having a crush on NBA, but also for teasing people saying he'd play in Olimpija for half the ammount other teams would be willing to pay to him. You don't do that to the fans Primož, and you will surely see why when you come to visit.
Bad luck that Fučka and Brezec are both in the same team, we can't boo on both players that hard...
at least our chances for a win in Ljubljana increased, those two will be mentaly drained. Fučka already got used to it, Brezec is yet to see that.

He just marked himself for the rest of his life. To be honest I don't want to see him in Olimpija jersey or national team ever again. Maybe at the moment I'm a bit too emotional but he is finnished with me (and I believe with many other people) and I'll take it as an insult if our management will ever try to bring him back again. For 100.000€ more and exposure to more NBA scouts... he became a real scum of a person.

Maybe he ranks ravioli above cevapcici... I am suspecting he also wanted a more competitive environment and hence a greater exposure. Surely the money didn't play too much of a role here. I would have loved to see him at Olimpija. It's a pity he didn't decide to join em.

Brezec said he choosed Roma thanks to Bodiroga, who convinced him with the team's ambitious project. Also added Roma is the most beautiful city in the world (I agree  ) and is pleased to play with his old friend Becirovic. Welcome.

Milano is interested in Alando Tucker (but first, they have to deal with Jumaine Jones' controversy) and Virtus Bologna in Bobby Brown.

Fortitudo's main target is Marcelinho Huertas, Savic is trying to convince him. It seems he has a big offer from Ukraine, but his agent prefers him to play in Italian League. Let's see.
