Ok lang yun. We all know his caliber and he will bounce back. Sayang lang panalo na sana.

yep. just disappointed the way he played. during the stretches that Karim was sitting, Fortuna should've taken over.

i was p****d for an hour or two after the lose to be honest. i've regain composure back. and that is something that the tigers need to have from this point onwards. we are definitely a better team than last year but what made us loose to the other teams last year seem to be the same. we tend to loose focus at the stretch. the violation of K-fer and the unusual high dribble of Fortuna are all avoidable. yes, jeric is looking at Coach Pido for the signal to attack but with around 15seconds to go, he didnt have to look at Coach every 2seconds. anyway, all of those can be corrected in season, which is good for us. the opposing coaches still looks at the team as one of the team that can really beat everyone, even Coach Norman is wary of us. this means a lot on the potential of the team. im hoping we jell more and start to focus better and until the final buzzer sounds. kaya naman e(it's really possible). here's to better games ahead!

UST looks very solid all these years but lacks the diin or the claw in the tigers fangs, tigers are brave and strong, can growl and spare the weak ones... all they need is that one big claw:cool:

He was about to actually (he sank sa mid-range jumper in those last 2 mins and an assist for a Teng 3.) Then that blundered lay-up and and stolen crossover came. Ferrer also had miscues (the follow-up where he could've he on to it, and that basket interference.) But give credit to them as they stuck to the system until the end, just losing steam, while FEU relied on their big time guards Garcia and Romeo on iso plays, who are abusing Fortuna and Teng. They won't be doing that again to us the next time around.

And also, I won't mind having Fortuna run the clock at the dying moments. It was a lesson for him though: Don't crossover-dribble in front of a defender in a crucial play. Too risky. Hehe bawi Fortuna! Wala yan, kaya mo yan! Mananalo tayo sa ADMU! >:]

OT: I also remember Nuyles going at Ravena every time he sees him on him and is always successful.

It wasn't a high dribble. Nasundutan. Babawi tayo pre! ADMU LANG kalaban! lol

Here's what I actually call must wins for a better chance at the Final 4 in the elims:

FEU (ok we lost the 1st one, and we can beat them next time)
DLSU (This'll be tough. They're deeper. Contented with a split, better with both won.)
AdU (It's now a Nuyles only team. Camson can be checked. Be careful of Brondial though. Etrone(?) can give match-up problems at the PG spot)
UP (We should win both. No excuses.)
UE (Same as with UP)

I doubt it if we can beat NU and ADMU but if we steal one from each and win the just mentioned, hello Final 4!

I don't agree with Pido's strategy where Fortuna has to wait for Pido to shout "GO". Just instruct your pg to attack if the clock is less than whatever then just trust your PG. You can't just run to the basket because you heard the go signal, you have to set up your dribble and read the defense.

I'm also disappointed with Ferrer, based on game 1, looks like he didn't improve at all.

Abdul meanwhile looks like following Jervy's footstep. He has improved his post moves and is starting to develop a nice midrange J. I was also impressed with Mariano. Based on his skillset, he can be an effective pick and roll forward.

“Nakatsamba rin sa wakas.” - Pido Jarencio on UST's win over ADMU.

>:]

I am extremely happy watching the replay. hehehehehe
Mariano and Teng are incredibly consistent and Karim keeps on finding ways how to help the team!

Is there any link where I can watch the replay?

(sana pinanood ko na lang kagabi, di rin pala ako makakapasok dahil sa baha. hehe!)

Congrats to our Team for finally beating TADMU!! :p

I'm still shell shocked. Congrats guys but, damn, your team hurt us big!

Ateneo was not prepared for Mariano and he took advantage of the situation.

But I have my worries on what effect of Buenafe's re-entry has on this Blue Eagles squad who became a Ravena-Slaughter team last year. Was thinking about the Toyota team which had then a healthy Jaworski back after Fernandez became their main man when the Big J was out. Team Harmony is also as important as Team Chemistry on court. Now who is the team leader.

We are very familiar with Seniors not that comfortable to take orders from underclass men or to become as their mere support.

Actually, Ateneo prepared for Mariano. Norman Black said the player they are watching out is Aljon Mariano. But still, no one really expected THAT kind of impact he created.

Agree .... even Pido was surprised hahaha!

I do feel Coach Norman saw Aljon's potential however his players underestimated him. hehehe!

Proud of the guy ..... guess where he gone-to in high school.
