Alright, Printezis is a defensive minded player, plays with heart from the harbour, has big @@s, he eliminates any opponent from SG to C, he is the player all teams want, Raptors were giving Parker+$4m but Olympiakos refused.

His defence is CRAP.
 
What does it mean that 14 players will stay in the roster until the start of the Olympics?

Who will play in the qualifying tournament and who will play at the olympic games in the case of qualification?
 
Perperoglou has (technique, dribble, penetration and shooting) what Vasilopoulos hasn't and Vasilopoulos (athleticism, strength, pace, defense and more experience at a high level) has what Perperoglou hasn't.

Yannakis is being a fool not utilising Perperoglou who had a fantastic play off season and good 2nd round offering Obradovic and PAO options that we weren't really expected from him. If he is good enough for PAO and Obradovic, then I don't know why he isn't good enough for the NT for at least, 10-15 mins.

Perpe showed that he started growing "balls" after the game against Siena at home and proved he has grown them with his performances in the cup final and the play offs where all signs of hesitation had dissappeared.

Yeah, we all know that until this winter Giannakis was a coach that was sucking up to Panathinaikos and therefore having green players play on the national team. Now he has become the best coach in Europe, just by wearing the red necktie...
 
what we all know is that Giannakis was the best coach and was the holy captain of PAO team, lifting ut the Euroleague trophy in 96 but the last few months he's a mediocre coach who is willing to use only Oly players and PAO doesnt want their players to go to the NT because bad Giannakis will not be fair with them and of course the banner with the 96 euroleague (with Giannakis) has been vanished from the OAKA :)

oh well, greeks are known to be ungrateful :rolleyes:
 
1. He was never the best coach. The best coach in Europe is Obradovic.
2. Alvertis (you know, the guy with more titles on his own than any Greek team) is the holy captain.
3. He almost lost the final, Stojan won it.
4. If he doesn't use PAO players it will hurt the NT and not them.
5. PAO should keep the banner of the coach of the archrival, especially when he is acting like a clown, right?

BTW, what happened to that old guy searching for his false teeth in SEF, did he find them?

Now let's let Papaloukas and Giannakis carry Diamantidis and Spanoulis as they have in the past, right?

it is really getting boring.in every thread there is the same stupid debate.
i guess that if people from other countries say that we are the most stupid fans in europe i can't disagree with them.

back to the topic,
Greek NT can really make it to the medals, they have the talent and the experience that are required to a high level tournament,

all that is needed, is some luck when it comes to "choose" an opponent for the quarterfinal,

I really don't know how can anybody, who has "lived" the 87 Eurobasket can't have some faith in the Greek basketball NT

no matter how bad the play, you should believe in this team,
because this team has the "die-hard" mentality given by Giannakis ;)

Man how can u stop Schortsianitis. Our players will surely get injured trying to defend him especially since our main center (Vogel) is injured.
I think the best thing to do is just move out of his way when he's charging towards the basket :D
