Paul, Allen named to the three point contest

Paul, Allen named to the three point contest

Teammates Paul Pierce and Ray Allen will compete against one another on the FootLocker Three Point Shooting Contest for the NBA 2011 All-Star Weekend as both were named as participants for the event. Pierce is the defending champion from winning last year's three point contest while Allen won the shooting contest back in 2001.

Tonight's game between the Celtics and Lakers will be quite interesting to watch on so many levels....

- With only 1 3PT FG behind Miller, Ray Allen will most likely break the record for most 3PT FG in NBA history in this game.

- If the Celtics lose this game on their home court they will be tied with Miami for first overall in the East and lose the 0.5 game advantage they had over them.

- Celtics will be lacking some big guys on their team with O'Neal and Erden being out with injuries.

- Lakers will be trying to avenge their last loss against the Celtics that was in Staples Center last month..

- Repeat of last years NBA finalists

This really shows how good this Celtic team is,
Delonte West and the 3 back up centers were out.
Pierce scored 1 point in almost 40 minutes.
Allen shot 35% from the field.
All the Celtic Players scored less than 20 points.
Only 2 Boston players have scored off the bench.
Rondo had a relatively ''quite'' triple-double 11-10-10 in over 43 minutes.
And they still won!

True

Probably the deepest team in the NBA along with the Spurs....Also credit to their defense they managed to limit the majority of Heats' players from scoring excluding the big 3 (Lebron, Wade, and Bosh)

A total ownage of the C's against the 3 Kings of South Beach. Lol. :D:p

Saw the replay
Rondo was pretty much owning lebron on D.
Also funny how he keeps sneaking in miami's huddles even with wade and james shoving him off.
