The leader at Unicaja and a co-star for the Spanish National Team, he will reach the FIBA World Championship at age 28 right and in the prime of his career. Garbajosa is a power forward who usually plays open due to his rare three-point shooting awareness. He can easily score from 6-7 metres, even off the screen, and is not afraid of taking shots even if he's having a bad day. With him, every shot will be a threat. Besides his shooting, Garbajosa is a great passer and game reader, and he will take advantage of every open spot on offense. He is also an outstanding defensive rebounder and an above-average defender. He also posses excellent all-around skills, including ballhandling and dribbling. After winning the Liga ACB with Unicaja Malaga in June, Jorge just declared to the press that he decided to head toward the Toronto Raptors next season. |
