Eliyahu exploded onto the scene in 2004 when he averaged 19.1 ppg and 5.8 rpg
during the FIBA Europe League. He was selected to the All-Star Day but did not
participate due to an injury. Despite offers to from bigger clubs in Israel, he
elected to stay with Galil to develop his game. …. Eliyahu has been a major part
of Israel’s youth team success in 2004 and 2005. He was a member of the 2004
silver medal winning side at the U20 European Championships for Men. In 2005, he
was an All-Tournament selection at the U20 European Championship for Men (Israel
