Olympic basketball is governed by the rules established by the
International Basketball Federation (FIBA). The rules are slightly different from
both the NBA and Eurleague.
The biggest difference for NBA fans will be
the trapezoid-shaped key or lane. This gives an advantage to
shooters and players with more skill, rather than big men who rely on
