Arvydas Macijauskas, seen here in 2004 playing for Tau Ceramica, is surely one of the greatest shooters on the planet. Macijauskas, Arvydas; Lithuania, Guard  - There is little doubt that Macijauskas is one of the greatest shooters in the Europe, playing in Spain for Tau Ceramica. His ability to shoot the ball is rivaled only by other great players like Peja Stojakovic and Dejan Bodiroga. Macijauskas is a part of a Lithuanian tradition of strong national basketball teams. He was a crucial member of the 2003 Lithuanian National Team that one the European Championship, defeating world-championship contending teams like Yugoslavia. Scouts and fans alike will be watching this young man, and general managers will be wondering how much it will take to sign him. For more information about Macijauskas, read his InterBasket.Net player profile. -Matt Blair

Andres Nocioni, the Argentine forward seen here during the 2002 WBC in Indianapolis, will turn the heads of scouts in Athens.Nocioni, Andrés; Argentina, Forward - People who saw Nocioni throw down his monster dunks in the faces of Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett during the 1999 World Basketball Championship qualifying tournament will never forget what they saw. Standing only 6'7", Nocioni plays taller than most players. He thrives in physical games, taking charges and bullying his way to the basket. But he is more than muscle and long hair. He has a great shooting touch. Expect him to make a huge impact in Athens. He plays in Spain now, but NBA scouts have been watching the status of his contracts for a long time now. Yao Ming blocks Alonzo Mourning's shot in the 2000 Melbourne Olympic Games (Photo AP).Yao, Ming; China, Center - Little needs to be said about Yao Ming. Yao is one of the greatest centers in the world, playing in the NBA. Several years ago after his first Olympic appearance in 2000, people like Larry Brown and Bill Walton were openly admitting that they thought Yao could become the greatest center in the world. Yao is now 23-years-old and 40 pounds heavier than he was in Australia. Although China's guards leave much to be desired (they're steadily improving), China doesn't need to worry about the center position. Look for Yao to dominate this years Olympics, but look for Team China to lose. For more information about Yao (how can anybody not know everything there is to know about this man??), check out his  InterBasket.Net player profile. -Matt Blair
