A huge Greek football scandal has also drawn in domestic basketball superstar Ioannis Bourousis leading to a shocking doping revelation and repercussions.

Leaked by a recorded telephone conversation, the transcripts tell a story of an April 2011 meeting between the owner of the Kavala Football Club and Olympiako’s and Greek National Team star Bouroussis.

The transcripts have Bouroussis requesting “more performance-enhancing medicines” and the 7-0 center’s statements indicate that the he had previously used the drugs including during the Greek Basketball finals against rivals Panathinaikos.

Psomiadis eventually offered more of the banned substance, adding “This makes my soccer players stay up all night.”

In the damning tape, Bourousis also referred to his club owners as “idiots.” Not surprisingly, Olympiacos is reportedly releasing Bourousis with a 200,000€ payout.

With St. John’s up 2 in the Big East Tournament, the Red Storm’s Justin Brownlee grabbed a loose ball, thought the game was over, took a couple of steps, stepped out of bounds and threw the ball into the stands while the final 1.7 seconds ticked off the clock.

The ball should have gone to Rutgers for one last shot at the basket. It didn’t. Check out the video:

Quickly after the game, the Big East conference hoped to patch any wounds with a statement:

Big East commissioner John Marinatto issued a statement about 40 minutes after the game ended admitting there were two errors made by the veteran officiating crew.

The result will stand. The 17th-ranked and fifth-seeded Red Storm (21-10) advanced to the tournament quarterfinals for the 20th time overall and first since 2003.

Talkbasket reports that New Orleans Hornet’s forward Peja Stojaković may have had a

late night tryst with porn star Sienna West:

“Predrag Stojakovic allegedly spent a ‘romantic’ night with porn star Sienna West who in turn told the world about it through her twitter account, which was later mysteriously deleted.”

Apparently, West had posted a video online of her supposedly driving to Peja’s house for a late-night rendezvous. Later, after the alleged meeting, West went to her Twitter account and made some flattering comments about Peja’s lower half.

Of course, no real evidence has appeared linking Stojakovic and Miller, just Miller’s video and Twitter messages. Without evidence or anything solid confirmed, this post falls under the rumor category. And looks like West is backtracking.

“After all the fuzz, Sienna West came back with another tweet, denying that the meeting ever took place.”

Alex von Furstenberg, the son of fashion icon Diane von Furstenberg and stepson to media mogul Barry Diller,  bankrolled the banner to publicly admonish Reggie Miller for supposedly pursuing Ali Kay, von Furstenberg’s fiancé, via text messages.

Miller has admitted to being a flirt, but news and photos shows that Ali Kay isn’t as innocent as she would likely have you believe.

TMZ reports that Kay sent the five-time NBA All-Star 50+ text messages including two with provocative photos of her laying in her bed and in a swimsuit.

Nor is Alex von Furstenberg innocent, the New York Post says that he started dating Kay when he was still married to his first wife.  D’oh!

According to the Beaumont Enterprise newspaper, court filing notes that Dirk Nowitzki may be expecting his firstchild.

Nowitzki’s former girlfriend Crista Ann Taylor, the woman that was recently arrested at Dirk Nowitzki’s home, named the NBA Star as the father of her unborn child and a paternity test has been ordered by the court.

And if paternity tests show that the 7-0 German is the father, Nowitzki has filed for full custody of the unborn child.

The AP reports that though “…neither Nowitzki nor Taylor is specifically named in the petition… the petitioner is identified as ‘D.N.’ and the respondent as ‘C.T.’ ”

Taylor was arrested at the Nowitzki home on May 6 and was administered a pregnancy test when she was booked into the Dallas County jail after her arrest last month and the test came back positive, The Dallas Morning News has reported.

The yet-to-be-born child is reportedly Taylor’s fourth.

Gerrick Fallon, a roommate close to the situation says that the 38-year old already has three biological children from three different fathers.  All three are now teenagers, an 18-year-old girl, 15-year-old boy and 14-year-old girl, and Taylor has little to no involvement in raising them.

“(Taylor’s) mother always took care of the children because Cristal was either incapable or unwilling to take care of them,” Fallon said. “Because she was always [in trouble] or on the run.”

She is being held at the Jefferson County jail in Beaumont, Texas. Taylor has been jailed from accusations that she paid off  almost $11,000 in dental work with a credit card she didn’t have permission to use. She also faces a probation violation charge in Missouri.

Taylor is scheduled to return to court July 24 for her trial.
