As the saying goes, “To the victor goes the spoils” and budding NBA superstar Russell Westbrook is beginning to see this happen before his very eyes.
After helping lead the Oklahoma City Thunder to the NBA finals followed by a Gold Medal with team USA, the two-time NBA All-Star has officially agreed to an endorsement deal with Nike’s elite Jordan Brand according to nikeblog.com.
Westbrook will be joining a Jordan Brand hoop roster that includes Chris Paul, Carmelo Anthony, Joe Johnson, Ray Allen and Richard “Rip” Hamilton.
Westbrook may have benefited from timing as former Jordan Brand member Dwyane Wade choose not renew his contract and announced a new shoe endorsement deal with Chinese apparel company Li Ning.
I am sure the new Jordan kicks will go well with Westbrook’s “outlandish” post-game outfits.
