I am happily living in Germany, while my parents – esp. my father – have scottish ancestry. Thus I regard myself to be German with some Anglo-Saxon impact. Your words about Germany seem to be a little bit negative to me; I’d think, American people could learn very much from how german politics is handling its crisis in the moment.
