Rudy Fernandez wants out of the Portland, NBA
Rudy Fernandez, the Spanish star and swingman for the Portland Trailblazers does not want to return to the NBA, according to reports that quote his agent Andy Miller.

Miller told several news outlets that Fernandez is so strong in his beliefs that he is willing to sit out the remainder of his NBA contract, which lasts the next two seasons.
The ideal move for Fernandez is a move back to Europe, as he hinted to towards the end of the 2009-2010 season.
Rudy missed 20 games this past season with injuries and was frustrated with Coach Nate McMillan’s style:
“It’s business as usual. (McMillan) is a coach who makes things very clear and has his philosophy. I don’t always get it. I try to play the way he wants, but I don’t feel the trust that he had in me the first year,” he conceded.
If Fernandez gets his wish and heads back to Europe, he’ll join fellow Spanish star and former Portland teammate Sergio Rodriguez, who left the New York Knicks for Spanish club Real Madrid.
Fernandez averaged 8.1 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2 assists last season.
