Luis Scola re-ups with Houston Rockets

After Yao Ming agreed to return to Houston this season, the Rockets have reportedly brought back another crucial part of their frontcourt. The Rockets have re-signed 6-9 Argentinian forward Luis Scola for 5 more years.

The 30-year old Scola, a restricted free-agent, averaged a career high 16.2 points, 2.1 assists as well as 8.6 rebounds per game last season while starting all 82 games.

The five year deal is for a reported $47 million, roughly$9.5 million a year.  Scola will be in action later this summer when Argentina plays in the 2010 World Championships of Basketball.
