Bobcats to trade Boris Diaw for Raptor’s Calderón?

Rumors have French forward Boris Diaw being traded from the Charlotte Bobcats to the Toronto Raptors for Spanish point guard Jose Calderón.

(Discuss the trade in our NBA Forum)

The move is to help the Bobcats obtain another point guard after their Raymond Felton, Charlotte’s starting point guard from last season, signed with the New York Knicks.

The Charlotte Observer is saying that Tyson Chandler, who has an expiring contract worth roughly $12 million this season,  may also be involved in the three-team trade with the Phoenix Suns.

Boris Diaw averaged 11.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 4.0 assists last season. Calderon put up 10.3 points, 5.9 assists, and 2.1 rebounds for the Toronto Raptors in 2009-2010.
