Ginobili keeping Spurs afloat over last 12 games

The Spurs are 8-4 in the last 12 games without their all-star guard Tony Parker.

Much of the reason why is that Manu Ginobili has been keeping the Spurs afloat – stepping up to the tune of 24.2 points on 52% from the field, 5.3 assists, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.3 steals in that stretch.

Ginobili also hit 32 threes in those twelve games, 45.1% from behind the arc and 87.1% from the free-throw line. (54-62)

It’s not a surprise that the 32-year old superstar is holding up the Spurs when they need him the most – he’s done it so many times in the past, but it’s especially impressive this time around because the 6-6 guard has been recovering this season and never seemed right until recently.
