Ivan Tomas  is not a star and is probably only known as the older brother of Croatia national team guard Marko Tomas.

But by joining his brother in Cibona, he had a rare and surprising attitude in the modern world of sports. Unlike his superstar brother Marko, Ivan plans on playing for the Croatian champions for free, without receiving any compensation for his work.

The 29-year-old guard will try to help the club not only in the sports area (Euroleague and Adriatic League), but also economically, as Cibona has been struggling for some time in that department. And what better way to do it than not getting paid.

Ivan Tomas had already played for Cibona during the 2006/2007 season, besides having worn the jerseys of Osijek, KK Zagreb, Lietuvos Rytas, Panellinios, PAOK, Široki, Lokomotiv Rostov and Krka Novo Mesto.

Tomas could make his debut as soon as tomorrow in the Adriatic League against Crvena Zvezda.
