The Reds scraped a valuable 89-85 Top 16 victory in Vitoria with Josh Childress scoring 21 points.
Greece center Ioannis Bouroussis and Lithuania forward Linas Kleiza poured in 18 points apiece for Olympiacos.
“There are lot of games left, and all of them are going to be tough ones,” Kleiza warned. “It’s always important to start by winning, especially on the road, and Vitoria is one of the toughest places to win, so we feel satisfied.”
