Despite shooting 0-10, Ginobili saves the Spurs
Even with Manu Ginobili shooting 0-10 from the field and without the services of Tim Duncan, the San Antonio Spurs were still able to pull out a 109-108 overtime win over the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Rookie Dejuan Blair started in place of Duncan and had a career-night with 28 points and 21 rebounds. Tony Parker contributed 28 points and 8 assists.
Even though Manu missed all ten of his shots, Ginobili still came up big for the Spurs as he saved a loose ball going out of bounds that led to the game-winning basket:
Jefferson ended up with the ball after the Spurs’ play went awry, with Manu Ginobili diving out of bounds to save an errant pass that bounced off of Antonio McDyess. George Hill then passed it to Jefferson, who beat the shot clock with a 13-foot jumper in the lane with 9.1 seconds left.
“He was 0 for 10, and he made the biggest play of the game,” said Thunder coach Scott Brooks. “Basically (Manu) won the game for them.”
Despite a wretched shooting night, Ginobili still had a plus/minus of +5, one of only three players (Blair and Parker) on the Spurs team to register a positive plus/minus for the game.
Ten of Blair’s 21 rebounds were on the offensive end. Kevin Durant led Oklahoma City with 35 points.

Manu is awesome!!
