However, I would be amazed if you told me that 7-0 Greek pivot accomplished it in just 12 minutes of play.

That’s exactly what happened this week; Bourousis, who was reportedly offered a contract by the San Antonio Spurs this summer, scored 23 points and grabbed one rebound in just 12 minutes of action.

His tally helped Olympiacos defeat Turkish club Efes Pilsen 105-90. In that one NBA quarter of play, Bourousis also accumulated 2 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks.

The 25-year old’s efficient performance topped the league’s performance index rating, with 32 this week. The index rating is the performance equation the league uses in determining the league’s MVP.

Former College Stars place 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Place
Coming in second place was former University of Louisville star Taquan Dean hit 7 three-point shots on his way to 30 points to keep Unicaja Malaga Unicaja undefeated after triumphing over Entente Orleans 74-86.

The third-best performance came from Tarence Kinsey of Fenerbahce Ulker, whose 20 points came in a defeat to undefeated Montepaschi Siena. Kinsey’s offensive output gave him an index rating of 29.

Matt Walsh, former Florida star, accumulated an index rating of 28 after putting up 21 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals, although his Union Olimpija fell 79-69 to CSKA Moscow.
