Pic of the Day: Reggie Miller gets called out
I normally wouldn’t publish something like this, but the image is so ridiculous, it was just begging to be posted. I apologize for taking a break from real basketball, especially with so many huge tournaments going on, such as Afrobasket, Asiabasket, and the CoCaBa championships, but… well, take a look…
The above banner was flown over Hermosa Beach during the AVP beach volleyball tournament. You can see that it clearly states “Reggie Miller stop pursuing married women.”
Who would go through the trouble and money to do this?
Why rich people of course!
Alex von Furstenberg, the son of fashion icon Diane von Furstenberg and stepson to media mogul Barry Diller, bankrolled the banner to publicly admonish Reggie Miller for supposedly pursuing Ali Kay, von Furstenberg’s fiancé, via text messages.
Miller has admitted to being a flirt, but news and photos shows that Ali Kay isn’t as innocent as she would likely have you believe.
TMZ reports that Kay sent the five-time NBA All-Star 50+ text messages including two with provocative photos of her laying in her bed and in a swimsuit.
Nor is Alex von Furstenberg innocent, the New York Post says that he started dating Kay when he was still married to his first wife. D’oh!
Sheesh, rich people are crazy.
Read all the sordid detail of the he-said-she-said at DeadSpin, TMZ, and the New York Post.
