Ask Kareem Abdul-Jabbar TWO questions
Interbasket and NBA great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar are teaming up together for a promotion that will allow IBN users to ask the Hall of Famer two questions for the next several months. So this is your chance, what would you like to ask the NBA’s all-time leading scorer?
Nothing is off-limits (ask your questions now)
Remember, the dunk was banned for nearly ten years because of Kareem’s (then known as Lew Alcindor) dominance. The NCAA banned the slam dunk in 1967, in preparation for Lew Alcindor’s run at UCLA. The ban forced Alcindor to develop his famous sky hook, the shot he would be forever linked to. The NCAA lifted the ban in 1976, and the slam dunk has been legal ever since.

From NBA.com: When Kareem Abdul-Jabbar left the game in 1989 at age 42, no NBA player had ever scored more points, blocked more shots, won more MVP awards, played in more All-Star Games, or logged more seasons. His list of personal and team accomplishments is perhaps the most awesome in league history: Rookie of the Year, member of six NBA championship teams, six-time NBA MVP, two-time NBA Finals MVP, 19-time All-Star, two-time scoring champ, and a member of the NBA 35th and 50th Anniversary All-Time Teams.
We’re only allowed to ask the six-time NBA champion only two questions per month so we’re going to be rather picky with the questions, but please don’t let that discourage you. You can post your question in the comments section of this article or you can post them in our dedicated forum thread.
