Almost having the ball stolen from him, the Denver Nugget’s Juancho Hernangomez picked up the ball, drop stepped and two-handed slammed over Tarik Black and Nick Young (who was there just to hang out and not really block shots). Peep the video:
Say his full name, Tarik! That’s Juan Alberto “Juancho” Hernangómez Geuer! Of his time on the floor, the 6-9 Spanish prospect managed 13 points on a series of runners, step backs, threes and a two handed dunk you guys all came to see.
Juan Hernangomez was selected with the 15th pick in this past NBA Draft joining Malik Beasley and Jamal Murray as a trio of rookies for the Denver Nuggets this season. After playing well in the Summer League, averaging 11 points and 8.3 rebounds per game in his first three, Hernangomez also pulled down two double-doubles in his time in Las Vegas.
