The easiest way to watch the basketball games taking place during the Olympics for those who are in the United States is to visit the NBC Olympics website. In the past, there have been some restrictions on consumers ability to view the feed without being able to validate that they have a valid cable subscription (or use their neighbors). Unfortunately for fans who do not live in the United States, the feed is not available for those who are not located in the U.S. based on licensing rules and restrictions.

Use a VPN to Change Your Browsing Country of Origin

Another popular tactic of fans to watch Olympic basketball who do not live in one of the countries that deliver a quality stream of the games is to use a VPN based in the desired country. For example, if you really, really, really like the BBC feed, then you could use a UK-based VPN to checkout the BBC Stream. Similar for checking out the Canadian or American streams. Most VPNs will cost consumers between three and 15 dollars (or equivalent) a month to leverage, so it is not the cheapest option for basketball fans to use to check out the action for this year’s Olympics. You can also use our printable 2016 Olympic Basketball schedule to help you plan out what games you will want to see online.
