Eurobasket 2015 is wrapping up. Friday features Latvia vs. Czech Republic in the important seventh/eighth place game for the final invite to next year’s Olympic Qualifying Tournament.
That game will be the buildup to the second semifinal between the undefeated Serbia team and Lithuania.
The Serbia-Lithuania match will determine who goes to the Eurobasket championship game against Spain and the automatic bid to the 2016 Olympics in Rio De Janiero. The loser will play for third place and will have to qualify for the Olympics in the qualification tourney that brings teams from all over the globe in hopes of grabbing one of the final spots to the Olympics.
Whichever team loses the Lithuania-Serbia game will play France to determine third/fourth place. Greece already notched fifth place by defeating Latvia and Italy placed sixth with a win over the Czech Republic earlier today.
