College player Adam Waddell dunks and flips over
Our site has been receiving a lot of traffic for people searching for a “college player that two-hand dunked and flipped over.“ All of those searchers were sent to our video of Belgian Syracuse player Kristof Ongenaet doing just that in the Big East championship.
Though Ongenaet’s shocking fall after a dunk is a worthy video (he wasn’t hurt), I think most were probablu looking for Wyoming’s Adam Waddell’s dunk, whose backflip dunk was much, MUCH more shocking. See below:
“That’s not a dunk. That’s an acrobatic flip.” said one of the announcers.
Waddell’s backflip dunk occurred in Wyoming’s 64-62 loss to Northeastern. As you can see in the video, the 6-10 redshirt Freshman center wasn’t injured in the play, in fact he popped right back up.
Now Waddell’s popping up on the national scene for his unintended feat via YouTube, ESPN, blogs, and has appeared on the Today show.

I can’t believe Wadell got up so quickly!! Holy smokes! I would’ve stayed down for the count!
