Manu Ginobili’s EuroStep, Signature Moves

Why is Manu Ginobili so successful?  For that matter, what makes any player successful?   There could be a myriad of reasons why; such as talent, passion, intelligence, athleticism, hard work, height, desire,  hustle…

If all things are equal, the success of players depends on the mastery of  a specific skills, or moves, and for Manu Ginobili, it’s the perfection and combination of four signature moves; the behind the back dribble, the step back, the up fake, and the much-complained about Euro-step.

I was recently digging around YouTube and came across these great step-by-step signature moves taught by Manu Ginobili himself.  Apparently Nike has created a bunch of how-to’s from some of the NBA’s most dangerous players – LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Deron Williams, Manu Ginobili, and more…

These videos have been around for 6-7 months already, so you may have seen them, if not, enjoy…

The above four videos are pretty cool and well-produced, but I think the walkthrough videos are even better. The walk-through signature move videos are Manu actually talking mindset, and giving rationale as to why these moves are done the way they are.
