Thanks Pohani. It is a pleasure.
Kudos to you Dudu! Very rarely do we have the pleasure in this forum to see such a post. Great compilation!

Yeah, Dudullullu, thank you very much for your compilation. It's very interesting to see some stats-based, informative posts in the topic and not the tiresome "Enes or Jonas" debate
I can tell some things about our young players. Semyon Antonov (1989 YOB) had some kind of a breakthrough season with the debutante Nizhniy Novgorod in this year's PBL (though the progress of the only a year older power forward/center Artyom Yakovenko with this team was not less spectacular, I think that if his progress continues Artyom can be a candidate to a senior national team in a very short perspective), playing very intensely, stable and mature for his age. He still was no favourite for a place in our NT on EuroBasket but made very good impression on the coaching staff by his hard work, athleticism and perfect physical shape in the first preparatory camp (which was intended for the young perspective players and has only one tested before in major tournaments player in Anton Ponkrashov) and finally (very surprisingly for some people even in Russia) made it to the final roster. And he well deserved it. As of now, he plays his limited minutes with brilliant intensity and besides his only 202 cm gives our team some very much needed (since because of Kaun's and Zhukanenko's injuries we are playning with only one real center, Timofey Mozgov, and Blatt thoughtlessly didn't included other Cs like, f.e., Sokolov in the roster) power and physical presence in the paint. He even manages to shoot the threes when open with very decent percentage (and this is not something he can brag about concerning last PBL season). I am very impressed with his performance in preparartory games and in tournament so far and I think that he has enough of a potential to make himself a respected name in the European basketball in a near future.
Sadly, Khvostov is another story. While Antonov played 2009/2010 season in a second-tier league of Russian basketball, Khvostov had debuted in Euroleague in 2006 at the age of 17 and in that year's Dynamo Moscow QF with PAO he was playing 17 mpg. So future once looked bright for him and being one of the stars of U16-U18 EuroChamps he was the brightest Russian prospect at the playmaker position in his generation. But he still has to come to fulfill the promises he made in so young age: his development as of now looks clearly stagnated, he still hasn't stable long-range shooting, kinda lost his court vision and even in pretty weak last year's Dynamo team he wasn't a leader he was expected to be. And in this tournament he struggles - 0/6 from the field in 3 games looks very depressing. Also our positional offence with him as the floor general looks very chaotic and disoriented. All in all, it's a sad story 'cause he was (and maybe still is) a very talented player.
Don't wanna talk that much about Jonas, Enes and Bojan as they are pretty in the center of everyone's attention - so I'll leave it to others. Among other players born 1989 or later I was expecting something big in this EuroBasket from Nihad Djedovic, Tornike Shengelia, Sasu Salin, Andrew Albicy (though I suspected that with Parker in the roster he won't get any playing time), Bozhidar Avramov, Robin Benzing, mentioned above Semyon Antonov and, of course, the one and only Milan Macvan (though I think of him as of a rather established player and not as of a some kind of junior). Yet I'd like to see Macvan playing more in this Serbia team, I can say that aside from Albicy and Avramov my high expectations mostly came true. And that Berisha kid (although he is from 1988) was at times so good and surprisingly confident (sometimes even overconfident ).

also, saras made even cemal nalga score, probably it is not hard for him to make jonas score.
So basically when Jonas played very little in the beginning, you couldn't understand how he could even be consider as a promising prospect. Now that he started to play more and pretty good, especially against Spain and Serbia,it's only because of Saras. What does he have to do to become a promising player? He's only 19 and already has proven that he can play against good centers, but for some he's still a bad player.
